Cameroonian born
environmentalist, Emenjoh Eldad is winner of the 2014 2degrees Sustainable
Champion. Eldad and the Anjong Young Farmers Group won the prestigious 2degrees
Network Sustainability Champion Award of the Year on their actions to improve
on the production of oil palm production in Ngie-North West Region of Cameroon.
Talking to this reporter shortly after receiving the distinction in the UK,
Eldad said it is “amazing” that “we won”. To him, the award is a mark of “recognition of work toward humanity” and an indication that
there is “more hard work ahead”.
