Women's Day Celebration: Hon. Awudu Donates 11 Cows to Women

 
Hon. Awudu Mbaya Cyprian, SDF Member of Parliament for Nkambe Central has donated eleven cows for women groups in Nkambe Central to celebrate women’s day. The eleven cows according what we gathered will be shared to all women groups to enable them celebrate the day in fanfare and elation. Hon. Awudu Mbaya Cyprian who is Quatestor at the Assembly is also quoted to have said that as Representative of the people, he thought it necessary to make a significant contribution to this year’s celebration. The cows were shared to the 11 centers in Nkambe Central for women to share and commune in solidarity. Hon. Awudu Mbaya however prescribed hard work, diligent and steadfastness in every little thing they do. “Women have become the backbone of our economy, they are managers of the homes, offices, military etc…and I congratulate them for that”, Hon. Awudu Mbaya told this reporter. Hon. Awudu looks at women as the custodian of the future of humanity and according to him, the woman is not only the bread winner in rural areas, “she works tirelessly round the clock”.Hon. Awudu Mbaya also moved round the 11 centers in Nkambe Central where he urged women to register massively in the electoral register so as to perform their civic responsibilities in the upcoming municipal and legislative elections.
It should be noted that Madame Awudu Mbaya Cyprian was also in the field distributing women’s day rappers to all the women groups in Nkambe Central. Mores so, she will in the days ahead be distributing maize seeds to women. An estimated 10 tons of improved hybrid maize seeds will be distributed in the days ahead for women to have a successful planting season. Furthermore, in collaboration with Climate Justice and the Pan African Parliamentarian’s Network on Climate Change, Madame Mary Awudu will in the das a head be empowering women groups in Nkambe on climate change mitigation
