The Mandela Washington fellowship for young African leaders
which began in 2014 has extended its outreach programme to GBHS Bamenda and the Catholic University-CATU-Bamenda. This Fellowship Program which is the flagship program of President Obama's young
African leaders initiative (yali) program seeks to empowers young people
through academic course work, leadership training and networking.
As part of their commitment to their countries, the Mandela Washington fellows Cameroon have been organizing out reach programs in order to enable young Cameroonians access to and benefit from the opportunities the united states has put at their disposal. Under the leadership of Chongwain Christelle Bay Nfor, the progam has impacted the lives of several youths in Cameroon. Last week, The Mandela Washington Fellows Cameroon also organized a workshop with objectives to Empower Youths on Enhancing Interfaith Dialogue for Peace.
