President Biya to Attend UN Genreal Assembly in New York

"I have had the opportunity to speak about the strategic objectives of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The programme's innovation resides in the fact that it transcends traditional indicators of economic growth to focus on real human progress, the heritage of humanity, and the well-being and security of all. It is an ambitious program whose success requires genuine commitment from all nations. Through this program, our shared ambition is to eradicate poverty and to leave no-one behind. This is the challenge we have set for ourselves and that we all must now rise to as one in order to meet the expectations of our peoples and to answer the call of History.
