Godlove Gabsibuin , Tata Carine Win Big at Mount Cameroon Race

Winners of the 23rd Edition of Mt. Cameroon
The winner big time winners of the 23rd edition of the Mt, Cameroon Race are Godlove Gabsibuin and Tata Carine, all from the North West Region. Of the over 500 athletes that took part in Saturday's race of February 17, 2018 Godlove Gabsibuin won in the men category while Tata Carine won in the female category. 
Godlove Gabsibuin covered the 40 km distance in 4h30min 46sec. Already winner of the men’s category in 2012, 2013 and 2016, this time he broke the race’s record.
Godlove Gabsibuin was followed by Faï Elvis Ndzedzeni (4:38:20) and Kenyan runner Chelimo Luka (4:40).
In the women’s category, Carine Tata emerged winner of the race in 5h 26 min 54 sec.She was followed by the almighty female runner Yvonne Ngwaya, 2nd (5h 27 min), and Tanyi Wingo Immaculate in 3rd position with 5:28:23.
In the juniors, the first woman to cross the finish line was Fonyuy Larrisa of the Destiny Club, and Saidou Souleymanou of the North West region in the men’s category.
