Reports say cholera cases have been diagnosed in five out of ten regions. According to latest information gathered, the South West Region is toppinh the chart with 1700 cholera cases and about 40 deads. South West health officials say health facilities are full with patients. Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. Some are lying in the corridors of the hospital and we are trying to set up makeshift structures to host more patients. The situation is critical," reports quote one health official saying. Limbe in the South West region is said to have registered the highest number of cases as compared to other towns. Experts and the population are pointing accusing fingers at dirty water for being the driver of the cholera cases. Poor drainages and inaccess to potable water is rampant. However, health facilities have embarked on aggressive campaign to remedy the situation. And have recommended that cleanliness around water is very vital to stop the spread
