Misaje Showcases Fruits of Relative Peace at President Biya's 39th Anniversary
There was fanfare and trumpet blast on November 6, 2021 at the Misaje market square to mark the 39th anniversary of the accession to the Supreme Magistracy by President Paul Biya. The celebration that started at 3 pm sent sounds of the drums and the gongs into the valleys of Chunghe, Dumbu, Kameni, Nkanchi and the hills of Kibbo, Akweto, and Bebekette. There was euphoria with the arrival of the Divisional Officer for Misaje at the ceremonial ground where he was received by the 1st Deputy Mayor Kinlo Gregory Ngeh and the newly elected CPDM Section Executive led by Ali Tukur In his welcome speech, Kinlo Gregory Ngeh, 1st Deputy Mayor of the Misaje council said that the 39th anniversary of the accession power of President Biya is taking place at the heals an important election in the history of Cameroon which registered the putting in place of new institutions.
