A list of nominees for CAF African Footballer of the Year 2012 has been
made public. According to the release, some 34 players will compete for the CAF
Football of the year. The list contains two Cameroonians namely; Alex Song of Barcelona and Nicola Nkoulou who plays for Marseille in France. Out of
the 34 players, only two players playing in the African Continent have been
nominated. They are Youssef Msakni – Esperance (Tunisia) and Stoppila Sunzu – TP Mazembe
(DR Congo). The rest are in Europe, America
