North West Fons Set to Elect New President in Nkambe

The elective General assembly of the North Fons Union will hold on February 20, 2016 in Nkambe. The decision to hand over power to Donga Mantung was reached at during an enlarge executive meeting that took place in Bamenda this weekend. Sources say the executive also endorsed the candidature of HRH Fon Ibrahim Japbfu Nfor, ruler of Nkambe as lone candidate for the position of General President. It should be recalled that HRH Fon Ibrahim Jabpfu Nfor has served NOWEFU in various capacities since creation. He served as Treasurer, Vice President and has also served as Divisional Coordinator for Donga Mantung. He is a former memebr of the House of Chiefs and is jampacked with experience in associative life and group dynamics.Given his experience and the wisdom, he was also endorsed by the Donga Mantung Fons Union as their lone candidate.
Classified sources hinted this reporter that the Nkambe Elective General Assembly will begin with an eceumical service and ends with the election of the President, Secretary General and Treasurer. The President General will be empowered to coopt a 50 man executive that will pilot the affairs of the union.
