Back2School: Biya Donates Tablets to Lycée General Leclerc in Yaounde

After laptops, President Biya has donated tablets his former school. The Head of State offered 312 digital tablets at the Lycée General Leclerc in Yaounde. The information was made public as the 2016/2017 school year reopens. The Minister of Secondary Education (MINESEC) went there on Monday to mark the first day of school for the new school year. Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibehe reports say has applauded the initiative by President Biya to empower students and teachers to meet the present day challenges.
It is alleged the tablets are part of a modernization project in schools. A project initiated in 2001 with the introduction of digital lessons with the creation of Multimedia Resource Centres in some schools.
" In short, the 2016/2017 school year is on track and those students who are in classes of examinations should be aware that the examination is prepared during the first day of school, "said MINESEC .
