A new date has been announced for the wedding ceremony between President Muhammadu Buhari's daughter, Zahra and Ahmed Indimi.

A new date has reportedly been fixed for the wedding of President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Zahra, Punch reports.
Following the sudden postponement of the wedding, the families have now chosen the 16th of December for the wedding ceremony.
According to the message on the invite, the wedding will take place in Abuja.
“H.E Haj Aisha M Buhari cordially invites you to the wedding
Fatiha of her daughter Zahra Buhari and Ahmed Indimi which will take
place on December 16th while the Kamu will take place in Abuja. Details
of the events will be communicated to you,” the invite states.
It was reported last week that the wedding was cancelled as a
result of President Buhari’s insistence on a low-key wedding for the
21-year-old bride to be. It was gathered that Buhari was not happy with
the media attention following announcement of the 30 Louis Vuitton bags
to Zahra on the media.
It was widely reported that the groom, Ahmed Indimi, had presented
bags, worth about £120,000 (N47,144,502), to the bride ahead of the
wedding.
Indimi who is the marketing director of Oriental energy resources
performed the introduction ceremony earlier at the Aso Villa, Abuja on
Friday, November 18.
Whether the wedding will hold this time around is left for all to see.
