In slightly above one year the President of The Fomunyoh Foundation
(TFF), has gone to all of Cameroon’s ten regions. From the Far North
Region in early 2015, he has been crisscrossing various localities in
the other regions doing what it seems are his preferred passions;
humanitarian actions and encouraging civil society initiatives.
And
his presence in Ebolowa, in the South Region on June 6, 2016 completed
the circle when Insitut Catholique Bonneau had more text books added to
their library by TFF. Dr. Christopher Fomunyoh expressed regrets at the
dilapidated state of this institution that was very renowned in the past
years.
Earlier, the TFF president made courtesy stops at the
governor of the South Region Felix Nguele Nguele and the Legion
Commander of the National Gendarmerie, Colonel Anne BELLA NKOTTO, who
happens to be the lone female in that position in the country. A brief
stop at the Divisional Officer of Mbalmayo ended the South lap of the
trip.
However, the TFF humanitarian scheme seems to be a real
caravan. Without any break it was on the outskirts of the nation’s
capital of Yaounde the next day. This time it was Lycee de Nkolodoum
that benefited from the over 20,000 collections found in its library in
Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon. It should be recalled that
over ten institutions in the Centre Region had benefited from this
generosity.
