Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, the president of the General Assembly of
Cameroon Bar
Association, has declared that he us saddened with the precarious
situation in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. In an
interview with the English Language Lone Daily, The Guardian Post,
Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle frowned at the burning of school, markets
and shops in North West and South West Regions. He expressed disgust on
the fact that some individuals have taken advantage of the situation to
stir trouble. "I think
that peace ought to return,” he is quoted to have told The Guardian
Post. He equally expressed disgust on the incident in Bamenda where a
female student was brutalized by some unidentified persons.
Harping on the importance of peace, Ntumfor is quoted to have said that:
“In my peace crusade drive, I have been calling on the Head
of State to grant general amnesty to all those arrested in connection
with the crisis.” It should be recalled that he launched this crusade
since January for peace to return in the North West and South West
Region.
