  Fon Chafah XI of Bangolan has re-opened case against his opponents shortly after withdrawing it. It is alleged the withdrawal of the case was withdrawn based on the advised of the Prime Minister, Yang Philemon. But supporters of the “new” Bangolan fon have allegedly vowed to proceed with their fon. However, Fon Chafah who had suspected that his opponents would be unbending did not personally apply for the withdrawal of the case. His lawyers did it meaning that the Bangolan fon could re-open it if he chose and that is what he just did. Chief Audu Ogbeh A former chairman of the People's Democratic Party who is currently a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress has recounted how he predicted the rise of Boko Haram almost two decades ago. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has stated that he predicted the emergence of Boko Haram insurgency 16 years ago, according to DailyPost. Ogbeh said he had warned northern elders to guard against it by ensuring youths in the region were productively engaged in agriculture. The minister recalled that the insurgency, which he predicted would wear a religious guise would have been prevented if his warning had been taken by the northern leaders he addressed in Kaduna in the year, 2000. Reports from the nation's capital Yaounde say part of the Omnisport Stadium popularly known as "chaba" has collapsed. According to reports, portion of the earth collapsed on the workers. However, it is alleged one person died while two others were injured. Yet no official statement has been issued to that effects. Pictures of the collapsed stadium has gone viral on the social media. The strange caterpillars have invaded some localities in Ndu Sub Division in( Donga Mantung Division) and Nkum Sub Division (Bui Division) of the North West Region. Tata Emmanuel Bantar, one of the youth activists based in Ndu has launched an SOS (step up action to remedy the situation). The caterpillars are said to be destroying almost every green leaf. Anne Marie Nzié is no more. Reports say Minister of Arts and Culture, Narcisse MOUELLE Kombi had paid her a courtesy visit at the Yaounde Central Hospital. While medics tried to rescue Anne Marie Nzie, who is in the national musical heritage had allegedly kicked the bucket at 84. Anne-Marie Nzié, it should be noted was with Manu Dibango (83 years) the oldest Cameroonian artist and still active. However, the truth is that she is in hospital but news went viral on the internet that she was dead. Anne-Marie Nzié sang bikutsi music. In the 1940s, Nzié began performing bikutsi in Yaounde. Monday 9, 2016 machines of the Upper Noun Valley Development Authority-UNVDA have kick-started maintenance work on the stretch of the Ring Road from Kumbo-Nkum-Ndu-Nkambe-Misaje. The one Compactor, one Grader, one Front-loader, two Bulldozers (equipment pool) of UNVDA is reported constantly going epileptic. This scenario of constant breakdowns have cast doubts on the quality of works, yet speculations are still rife at that it may still be too early to judge UNVDA output. Press Release On the 9th of May 2016, a journalist by name Teke Julius, working for the Cameroon Radio Television CRTV- Buea was arrested by elements of the national gendarmerie and thrown to jail. He was on duty covering the inspection visit by Cameroon`s Prime Minister on the various infrastructure to host the 2016 Women`s African Cup of Nations. The journalist who was duely assigned for that coverage, and who wore an accreditation badge for the eve nt saw his recorder confiscated for allegedly recording the Prime Minister`s instructions to the workers. On May 7, 2016, there was community work on the stretch of road leading to Mbu-warr in Nkambe Central. Musa Shey Nfor, councilor for Nwangri village initiated the programme which many including HRH Fon Mbunwe of Mbot have described as a meaningful act aimed at fostering development effort. More than 100 youths of Ngwanri came out with hoes, matchets, spades, wheelbarrows and cutlasses to fill potholes, clean road sides, clear culverts of the debris and dig water channels at (Mbumakop) to make the most deplorable spot below the Mbot palace.  Musa Shey Nfor said development is more appropriate when it is people oriented and community involvement in the maintenance of rural roads could be more sustainable. Tongues are still waging in Kumbo, Bui Division over the unprecedented incident that almost created a stalemate at the Tadu Dairy Cooperative Society-TDCS. Matter came to a head few days ago when some crop farmers took some dairy cows to the Kumbo council cattle paddock on grounds that the cows had destroyed their crops. The logjam nearly took control of the lone processing industry in Bui Division and one of the most vibrant cooperative societies in the North West Region.
