Nigerians have been urged to stop being pessimistic over the health crisis facing President Muhammadu Buhari but to pray for his speedy recovery.

General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleiman

The General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleiman has admonished Nigerians to apply caution and stop wishing for President Muhammadu Buhari's death.

According to him, it belongs to God to determine who lives or dies. The man of God further urged Nigerians to pray for the well-being of the ailing president.

“Only an irresponsible country will be wishing their leader dead.

“It’s an irresponsible thing for people to be wishing President’s death. Nobody who has a good heart will be wishing a leader dead.

“You don’t wish your leader dead. Nigerians should be careful. Only God has the power of life and death.

“Stop wishing the President dead. If your husband is sick do you wish him death? Do you that man is somebody’s husband? If your father is sick do you wish him death? That man is somebody’s father.

“And you are wishing him dead. I know this thing I’m saying some Christians won’t like it. Stop wishing him dead. Pray for his health. Don’t wish any leader dead.

“Only an irresponsible country will be wishing their leader dead.” he established.

Suleiman also urged everyone to live in peace instead of allowing crisis to prevail in the various regions of the country.

“If you are a Nigerian, whether you like it or not, this country is your country. Its our country. We are going to pray for Nigeria. Let there be peace in Nigeria from the North to the East, West and South.

“If there is crisis in Nigeria, it will consume all of us. We don’t need crisis, we need peace. We cannot talk of development without peace”, he added.

Health Tips: How Much Water Should You Really Drink? Checkout the Answers

If you have been thinking hard about the correct amount of water you should really be taking, then you've found the answer you seek.
The body is made up of about 60% water. Every system in your body needs water to function. We lose some of this water everyday in various ways, especially through urine and sweat.

When you drink water, you replenish the water lose. Without enough water, your body cannot function properly. Your recommended intake is based on factors including your s*x, age, activity level, and others, such as if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

Water regulates your body temperature, lubricates your joint, protects your spine and other tissues, helps you eliminate waste through urine, sweat and faeces. Water keeps your skin looking healthy, and can also help manage your weight since it contains no calories.

Drinking too much water may lead to dehydration. Drinking too much water may lead to hyponatremia, when the excess water in your system dilutes the electrolytes in your blood and reduces your sodium levels.

The question of how much water one should drink in a day is one that has brought about many different opinions. Health authorities tell you to follow the 8×8 rule, which is drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water everyday. That is about 2 litres. But when you think of it, you cannot really tell how much water you need as this depends on the individual. A bigger person will require more water than a smaller person.

Also, someone who jogs every morning will need more water than someone whoHow much you should actually drink is more individualized than you might think. The Institute of Medicine (IOM) currently recommends that men should drink at least 104 ounces of water per day, which is 13 cups. They say women should drink at least 72 ounces, which is 9 cups. Even still, the answer to exactly how much water you should drink isn’t so simple. doesn’t.

The current recommendation for adults around 3.7 liters for men and 2.7 liters for women. Staying hydrated goes beyond just the water you drink. Foods make up around 20 percent of your total fluid requirements each day. Along with drinking your 9 to 13 daily cups of water, try to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

Drink extra 1.5 to 2.5 cups of water each day if you exercise, more if you work out for longer than an hour. Take more water than usual when it gets hot because you lose more water when you sweat.

When you have a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, your body loses more fluids than usual, so drink more water. Your doctor may even suggest adding drinks with electrolytes to keep your electrolyte balance more stable.

Drink when you are thirsty and every time you eat. Carry a water bottle around with you to drink from when you get thirsty, especially when going on trips or when working out. In all, drink water like your life depends on it, because it does.

July 18 (UPI) -- R. Kelly is denying allegations that he is holding women against their will as part of an abusive cult inside his rented properties in Atlanta and Chicago.
"Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him," the singer's lawyer Linda Mensch said in a statement. "Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations."
The accusations come from a BuzzFeed report released Monday that cites three unnamed sets of parents who state they have not heard from their daughters for months as Kelly brainwashed them as part of a cult.
The parents said that their daughters, who are over the age of consent and who got with Kelly to further their music careers, have their daily activities controlled by the 50-year-old including what they can wear and eat. Kelly has also been accused of demanding sex with the women and recording it.
Three ex-members of Kelly's entourage also came forward to support the parents' statements regarding his controlling behavior.
Joycelyn Savage, who is currently living with Kelly, spoke with TMZ Monday and denied that she was living in a cult. "I am in a happy place in my life and I'm not being brainwashed. I am totally fine and happy where I'm at," she said.
Kelly was previously acquitted of 14 charges of making child pornography in 2008 following the release of a videotape that allegedly featured the performer having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

All Progressives Congress Youth Group lambasts P-Square

The All Progressives Congress youth group has lambasted the Okoye brothers, Jude and Peter of P-Square for insulting the Federal Government over its plan to ban the production of movies and music abroad.

The Okoye brothers

It should be recalled that TORI News had reported few days ago that the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed stated that the Nigerian government is planning to amend the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, NBC’s rule to stop the shooting of music videos, movies and other productions meant for Nigerians consumption outside the country.
Nigerian artistes spearheaded by the Okoye brothers - Jude Okoye and Peter Okoye - through their social media accounts slammed the Federal Government over its plans
Jude Enges Okoye took to his social media page on Instagram to wrote:
“Smh. An industry they NEVER encouraged, supported or empowered is what they now want to control. Let all of you stop running to abroad when you are sick as na naija money una dey use patronize oyibo hospital dem. You people are the ones refusing to fix our health facilities so u travel out when mosquito bite una.
"So why tell us where to record when u can’t provide uninterrupted power here in Nigeria. Sometime I wonder how we got it all wrong. Una children when dey sch for abroad na which money una dey use patronize them? Abeg stfu!"
Also in reaction, Peter Okoye of the P-Square music group took to his Twitter page to wrote: “And our Government been failing us since 1960 #SMH. Dear FG, for your information! All the Shame way una dey bring for dis our country na we dey entertainers dey cover una Nash! Ndi ala #SMH.”
He added, “Sometimes am ashamed to be called a Nigerian because this people."
According to a report by Politics NGR, the All Progressives Congress(APC) youth renaissance group has now fired a stinker at the Okoye brothers for insulting the Federal government of Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the group’s national secretary, Mr Collins Edwin and made available to PoliticsNGR, the APC described Okoye as a ‘son of darkness’.

 The statement read in full;

"We read the scurrilous remarks credited to Mr Peter Okoye of the Psquare group against the Federal Government’s job-saving policy in the entertainment industry with great anger and vexation.

"Least of all persons to make scathing remark against the government is the Psquare group which the local content policy of the Federal Government dusted-up from the valley of obscurity.

"Where was Peter Okoye or Psquare brand in 1999 when foreign music dominated our airwaves? If not for the government policy which mandated all broadcast stations in Nigeria to pay attention to Nigerian music by playing 95 percent of Nigerian songs every day, would Peter Okoye or Psquare be known to anybody in Nigeria today? Or would they have competed with better American music which dominated our airwaves then?

"After the government have used its policy to brush them up from nothing to something; instead of giving opportunity to other people, they are taking Nigerian jobs to foreign countries through the shooting of music videos abroad.

"Now that government have intervened to raise great and better entertainers again, Peter Okoye has the gut to insult the entire Federal Government by calling our great leaders ‘Ndi Ala’ which means mad and stupid people. How dare you say that Psquare?

"We, therefore, urge the security agencies in the country to arrest Mr Peter Okoye for disrespecting our government and bringing it to a disrepute. If you cannot produce in Nigeria and hire Nigerians, then leave the industry. We must export Nigerian culture to the outside world through our music and videos."

Football Transfer: Gareth Bale Breaks Not Leaving Real for Manchester United

The 28-year-old continues to be linked to a move back to the Premier League but he is working hard to play a key role for Madrid next season.

Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale says he is not planning to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United, stating no offer has been made.
The Welsh attacker has long been linked with a move back to the Premier League, with the Old Trafford club the main suitors.
The 28-year-old made just 27 appearances in all competitions last season due to injuries, but remains a key role to Madrid's famous BBC attacking trio alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
And he insists he is enjoying life in the Spanish capital. When asked if he has considered leaving, he told Marca: "No, everything has been complicated by my injury, but nothing else.
"I can still play well and when I'm at the maximum I'll give my best again. I signed a long contract at Madrid and I'm happy here.
"The truth is I didn't read anything about United's interested. As a British player, I'm always associated with a return home. The same thing happened with David Beckham and other Englishmen who came to Spain. It's nothing new.
"I'm happy playing in Madrid, logically interest is interest, but if there has been nothing concrete, no offer, then there is nothing to discuss."

Movie World Mourns as Zombie Horror Movie Legend and Creator Dies at 77

Multi-award winning writer, Hollywood director and pioneer of zombie horror, has died after a brief battle with lung cancer, his producing partner said.

George A. Romero

George A. Romero, the writer and director behind the cult-classic horror flick "Night of the Living Dead", died Sunday. He was 77.
Romero has been called the "father of modern horror films." He died following "a brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer," his longtime production partner Peter Grunwald told CNN.
Grunwald said Romero passed away "peacefully in his sleep" while "listening to the score of 'The Quiet Man,' one his all-time favorite films, with his wife Suzanne Desrocher Romero, and daughter, Tina Romero, at his side."
"[Romero] leaves behind a loving family, many friends and a filmmaking legacy that has endured, and will continue to endure, the test of time," Grunwald said.
Romero was born in 1940 in New York City. His big break came with the release of "Night of the Living Dead" in 1968, which was his first feature-length movie and made on a $114,000 budget. The movie, snubbed by the mainstream press, became a smash hit among horror aficionados and gore lovers.
Romero worked on several other projects to little box office success before the first "Living Dead" sequel, "Dawn of the Dead," debuted in 1979 to great fanfare and critical acclaim. An initial backlash to some graphic special effects helped boost the film's notoriety, drawing more to theaters.
"Romero has created the ultimate American nightmare. We are feeding on ourselves. Some consider this one of the most important American films of the last decade and it should be seen," a review in the "Motion Picture Guide" reads.
Romero continued his work in the horror genre throughout the 1980s. In 1990, he rewrote the original "Living Dead" screenplay for the franchise's first remake. That was followed by "Land of the Dead" in 2005. at 89
In 2006 Romero made "Diary of the Dead," launching a new cycle of "Living Dead" zombie flicks, which also includes 2009's "Survival of the Dead."
His most recent project was a a graphic novel entitled, "Empire of the Dead," which was published by Marvel.
New York magazine writer, Cynthia Heimel wrote in 1980 that Romero "is known for making the most grisly, horrifying movies you're ever likely to see."
Mike Drucker, the standup comedian and "Late Night" jokes writer, credited Romero with "reinventing" zombies, which, since his 1968 creation, have become ubiquitous in movies, films and books.

Scientists Make Explosive Discovery on How to Live Healthier and Longer

Some scientists have made a new discovery about how having more s*x can lead to having a healthier and lengthier life. S*x is good! I guess we all know that.
But beyond the feel-good part of s*x, scientists are also saying that s*x has a way of making us feel younger, healthier, and subsequently, live longer.
In a report published in the journal PsyPost, scientists in California found that s*xual intimacy is associated with longer telomeres.
Ordinarily, the way the telomeres work is this: they are the protective caps on our DNA, but they shorten as we age.
Scientists have, however, discovered that among those who have regular s*x, the telomeres get elongated.
This is a welcome discovery!
The researchers asked 129 women, who were all in relationships, about their sexual activity over the course of one week, and examined their blood.
“Significantly” longer telomeres were found in women who reported having weekly sexual intimacy, the study states.
Lead researcher, Tomás Cabeza de Baca, of the University of California, calls telomeres “a biological index of systemic ageing and health.” They protect our chromosomes from fraying, and “maintain the integrity of DNA,” he said.
Tomás said: “Although normal life-course processes, such as ageing and cellular replication, shorten telomeres, sustained psychosocial stress accelerates this process.
“Over time, shortened telomeres may contribute to chronic degenerative diseases and premature mortality.
“Previous research has linked shorter telomeres with increased risk of disease, and argued it can be controlled to some extent by a healthy diet; and exercise — such as s*x."

If Your Partner Does Any Of These 5 Things, You Need to Think Twice

There are certain red flags that point out the fact that you should not be in a relationship with your current partner. These are some of those things. Human relationships are dotted with challenges, such that there may be no perfect relationship anywhere And while many people would give their very life to keep a relationship, experts counsel that if your partner is guilty of these six thins, you may have to reconsider that relationship!
What are the red flags? These ones…
• They act like your child:
Instead of looking for a girlfriend or wife, some men desire to marry a woman who would act as their mother-wife all rolled up into one. As well as this being no fun, it’s a bad sign of the man’s character that he is taking advantage of you like this.

• They make you feel drained:
It’s officially not fun anymore when you come away from time with them and feel exhausted.
A relationship therapist, Dr. Ian Kerner, warns that this red flag can be resolved. Try to pinpoint what it is about being with your partner that makes you feel this way.
Then try to raise the issue with him or her. If you can’t resolve it, or if you feel you don’t want to put energy into trying, it could be time to walk away.
• They don’t trust you:
Not trusting you can be due to their own insecurities, but it’s not your fault, and nor is it your job to go above and beyond the call of duty to show them you’re trustworthy.
• Odd behaviour: You know what this is, don’t you?
• They’re rude to waiters:
Another recurring character trait that puts people off their date is when the person is rude to the person bringing them food. This is a hard and fast rule for friendships too.

Miracles Thing: Pastor Tries to Fly Like an Angel to Jerusalem, Ends Up Breaking Leg

A pastor has stunned church members after trying to fly like an angel to Jerusalem only to end up breaking his legs.

Illustrative photo by SDE

According to a report by SDE, the residents of a village in Singorwet ward, Bomet County, Kenya were treated to a nerve wrecking drama last Sunday after a local church pastor unsuccessfully attempted to fly to Jerusalem using artificial wings, falling off a tree and breaking his legs.
The man of God, famous in the village for predicting the second coming of Jesus on several occasions,  something which has never come to pass, is said to have gone round the village announcing his departure to Jerusalem.
This, he said, was following an invitation by God himself in a dream.
Eyewitnesses said the pastors, who had tied improvised wings made of polythene bags and rags to his shoulders, had also spoken during his sermon early Sunday, of his imminent trip to Jerusalem.

“We thought he was joking until he appeared dressed in his flying gear, bidding people farewell,” said the witness.

After a short prayer, the pastor asked curious members of his church, who had gathered to see him off, to escort him to a tall Eucalyptus tree, which he claimed was a suitable take off point, as revealed to him by God.

The pastor climbed atop the tree. Nervous parishioners, thinking that the man of God was on a suicide mission, alerted the chief who in turn called the police and ambulances for an emergency rescue.

Word had gone round and within a short time, the scene was jammed with thousands of locals, eager to see the man of God flying to Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, authorities were frantically trying to get him to climb down.

Attempts by the choir master, a very close friend to the pastor, to convince him to abandon his flight to Jerusalem fell on deaf years as the pastor stood his ground, insisting, “I must fly to Jerusalem”.

“You cannot stop an idea whose time has come more so when it has the blessings of the most high! Just let me go!” insisted the pastor atop the tall tree.
Elders were soon summoned to come and convince the adamant pastor against attempting to take off without their blessings.
But the elders were met with utter shock when the man of God rebuked them, saying God was showing him the elders burning in hell for trying to stop him.

“You can command humans to stop going against worldly cultures but commanding against God’s commandment is impossible.
“You should rather repent because these are the last days, Jesus is coming back,” the pastor retorted.

Cries and mourning of women and children who feared for the pastor’s life, did not deter the man of God.
When he discovered that a young man who had climbed the tree to get him was almost catching up with him, he spread his wings and took a plunge.
The wings, as expected, malfunctioned. The pastor came tumbling down with a thud, and immediately began wailing, asking for help. Upon closer scrutiny, he had broken his legs, his nose was bleeding and he later passed out. He was rushed to a local hospital where he is recuperating.

CPJ’s 2017 IPFA awardees are:
Ahmed Abba, a correspondent for Radio France Internationale’s Hausa service, who was imprisoned in Cameroon in July 2015. He was convicted on terrorism-related charges and sentenced in early 2017 to 10 years in prison in connection with his coverage of the extremist sect Boko Haram.

Fru Ndi's Challenger Publishes Own Manifesto

Teche Nyamusa, the self proclaimed candidate to challenge chairman Ni John Fru Ndi as SDF National chairman/ 2018 Presidential elections has made public his political manifesto.

Here below are the excerpts of Teche Nyamusa's political manifesto

Felix Teche Nyamusa, candidate for SDF National chair/Cameroon 2018 presidential elections, manifesto excerpts:

The Nyamusa campaign goes for a two states federal Cameroon of equal status – bi-jural, bilingual, bicultural …

The Nyamusa campaign normally recognizes the “Right to self determination” of all including “Ambaland”.

Nyamusa urges “Anglophones” and “Francophones” to each come up with the education system and/or other adaptations that suit her, if need be.

President Felix Teche Nyamusa(pending your votes) pledges to pay reparations to all marginalized, deprived, subjugated Cameroonians from independence till date.

Nyamusa plans to restore the appellation for our country – “Federal Democratic United Cameroon Republic” or so of the original goals of President Ahmadou Ahidjo and Premier John Ngu Foncha and their comrades of the 1961 plebiscite.

Federal Democratic United Cameroon Republic will have at least three parliaments comprising of: a Federal parliament; an Anglophone State parliament; a Francophone state parliament. In addition to of course an elected federal president; each state will have an elected governor; elected federal parliamentarians of the federal parliament; elected state parliamentarians; of course elected local councilors with elected council chairpersons. No to government delegates, No to DOs, No to SDOs, No to appointed governors as obtained in the CPDM(former CNU) era.

The Federal government shall derive its power from state governments. Though the Federal government is superior and acts commander-in- chief, no law or decision proposal will become federal law without the approval of at least majority members of each state - hence the minority state in population will never be dictated to by the majority state in population. Equally the right to self determination is therefore reinforced.

In the envisaged Federal Democratic United Cameroon Republic, separation of powers will be total. If president is from one state, the vice must be of the other state and vice versa. If different presidents of the same state consecutively remain in power for four (single or double) terms of office, then obligatorily the fifth term president will go to the dormant state and the vice goes to the domineering state. Each term of office of the president shall be four years renewable once.

ELECAM which is pro CPDM will be replaced with a unanimously (considering the meaningful political parties, civil society, clergy, youths, women …) accepted elections body.

No to “Anglophones” marginalization; No to “Francophones” marginalization!

Nyamusa believes in pan Africa, pan Cameroon but we must go to equity with clean hands. Nyamusa believes in meaningful friendly inter countries cooperation.

My party SDF manifesto ably compliments these! These and more democratic ideals are achievable !

Dictatorship can be removed or thrown out either through the door or window by resorting to the last Cameroon resolve - an article originating from international human rights and United Nations charters and ratified by our country Cameroon government!

The Nyamusa campaign has a listening ear to all Cameroonians.

President Nyamusa (pending your votes) will tackle Boko Haram and related challenges fundamentally in a way not to clampdown or challenge foreign freedom fighters but taking optimum care of Cameroon’s borders. The plight of the Bakas, Bororos … minorities is of great concern to the Nyamusa crusade.

Nyamusa campaign pledges to make SDF her base an example of democracy where elective secretary general will be reintroduced, the erection of a befitting national secretariat, ensure effective separation of powers particularly at the apex party ruling organ (NEC).

The Nyamusa 2018 Cameroon presidential campaign complete manifesto is contained in a book – “Effective Democratic Succession in Cameroon” in English and French in bookshops nationwide!

The Nyamusa campaign advocates for the abolition of the French backed “Francs CFA” currency for a national or Africa regional currency as soon as possible to enhance industrialization and an improved fiscal policy to say the least!

May God guide Cameroon!
