DIGHAMBONG ANTHONY MVO Opens Can of Worms at Installation of Menchum SDO-Must Read Speech

AN ADDRESS PRESENTED BY COUNCILLOR DIGHAMBONG ANTHONY MVO, LORD MAYOR OF THE WUM COUNCIL, ON THE OCCASION OF THE HANDING OVER CEREMONY BETWEEN MR. EMVOUTOU BITA BENOIT WILLIAM AND MR.KAMGA CHARLES AS THE OUT GOING AND INCOMING SENIOR DIVISIONAL OFFICERS RESPECTIVELY FOR MENCHUM DIVISION BY HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR OF THE NORTH WEST REGION AT THE WUM GRANDSTAND THIS 21ST DAY OF JULY 2017.

Ø YOUR EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR OF THE N. W.R,

Ø THE SENIOR DIVISIONAL OFFICER FOR MENCHUM DIVISION,

Ø THE DIVISIONAL OFFICERS OF WUM, FURA-AWA, ZHOA AND BENAKUMA

Ø THE LORD MAYORS OF BENAKUMA, FURA-AWA, AND ZHOA

Ø MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT OF THE UPPER AND LOWER HOUSES,

Ø THE PRESIDENT OF THE HIGH COURT AND LEARNED STATE COUNSEL,

Ø DIVISIONAL DELEGATES AND SERVICE HEADS,

Ø LEADERS OF LEGALISED POLITICAL PARTIES,

Ø FONS AND ARDOS,

Ø RELIGIOUS AUTHORITIES,

Ø INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ELITE,

Ø DISTINGUISHED LADIES AND GENTLEMEN;

It gives me immense pleasure for rare occasions like this have hardly come my way in which I have had the opportunity and privilege to welcome all of you to this land of great hospitality. On behalf of the four Municipalities that make up this Division of plenty, I heartily welcome not only with these words but with my heart especially our ever dynamic Governor H. E. Lele L’Afrique Tchofo Deben Adolphe.

            Your Excellency, Ladies and Gentlemen;
We are gathered like one family to witness the passing over of the 32nd Command baton of one of the oldest Division in this Nation. Menchum Division was created in 1948 founded by the Germans and later colonized by the British after the First World War. This Division and her hospitable and legendry people covers a total surface area of 4489Km2 with population 251,998 inhabitants.
The Division is made up of four Sub Divisions, namely; Furu- Awa, Fungom, Menchum Valley and Wum that doubles as the Divisional Head quarters. It is a border Division sharing a very long border with the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Division is endowed with  rich volcanic and luminous soils, encompassed with a favourable climate, forestry and many tourists sites, such as our famous Menchum falls, undulating Hills, many lakes like that of Nyos, the exceptional hot springs of Itiaku. The Division is rich in flora and fauna. We have the famous Bu rice you would not afford to miss the taste. We are blessed with huge untapped natural needed human resources. A Menchum man is good by nature, hospitable, peace loving, law abiding and very sociable, but may easily change from good to bad if pushed to the wall. In short, we are blessed with huge economic potentials that if well harnessed could make Menchum an Eldorado in Cameroon.

            Your Excellency, Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen;
We sincerely thank you for the  countless visits to this Division which has paid off in many ways amongst which are, Menchum having the first ever Regional Delegate, and of course the Historic first ever General for the Division, General Agha Robinson Ndong, who would be installed tomorrow in Bamenda. We can’t enumerate all here today because by God’s Grace, we keep trusting in your very sharp pen that, our elephant is in the pipeline, hopefully in the weeks ahead we shall again be blessed to know for the first time ever in the history of the present Menchum, how to organise the reception of a Cabinet Minister, God so willing.

            Your Excellency, Ladies and Gentlemen;
Today we are sending off Mr. Emvoutou Bita Benoit William after spending four (4) years, eight (8) months and sixteen (16) days with us. I want to thank you Mr. S.D.O. for the good moments we shared together, especially those of exercising your supervisory rule over Councils of this Division as well as the drop in the persistent farmer-grazier conflicts. You will at least be fondly remembered by your usual expressing of “Heeh, vous croyez que”. We however, would hardly forget, as it always sharply brings to our minds the ugly incident of the burning down of the Military Camp in Wum in January 2016 by some angry youths, a thing total collaboration would have avoided. Michael Jordan wrote “Talent wins games but team work and intelligence wins championship”. It is still therefore our prayer and wish of God’s richest guidance in your new administrative command unit.

Your Excellency, Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with great joy, hope and enthusiasm that I welcome Mr. Kamga Charles as our 32ND Senior Divisional Officer, of course just one less than the age of Jesus Christ. We are certain therefore, that we are receiving someone today so closed to Christ. Menchum Division has been fondly and rightfully described as a nursery for administrators wishing to move to higher heights in their administrative career. In order to achieve this, President Paul Biya in an interview on Cameroon Television on February 19, 1987 said It is not enough to be a graduate from the Advance School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM), but to cultivate the intellect, to be abreast with development, which is the only way in which we can have an administration that meets the needs and expectations of the people”. Mr. Senior Divisional Officer for you to therefore achieve all of these, the panacea shall be:

·       Create a cordial relationship with the local population.
·       Live with your people, by your and for your people.
·       Organise skills and help people live together.
·       Engage in the fight against the serious Security threats and curb the rampant cases of robbery, consumption of marijuana, child trafficking, rape, trading in contraband goods etc. so common within us.
·       Give a lasting solution to the long outstanding farmer – grazer conflict.
·        Let your supervisory rule over Councils not be seen as an arm or domination over the later but rather as a way of accompanying the Mayors to accomplish the drive for decentralisation and  development.
·       Most importantly, work very closely with all and sundry to better manage the socio – political crisis currently prevailing in the two Anglophone regions.

I am so confident you would achieve all of these because in the land of the Bamilikes, I know well of, la tradition de grenier which states “ceux qui avaient avant la colonnisation avaient déjà une grande idée de l’épargne et san épargne pas d’investissement et san investissement pas de progress”. I would go further by sharing with you this wonderful prayer that also inspired me from Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, a former Nigerian Nationalist and leader. Observing the happenings around him, he cried to God “O God! inspire me with the spirit that I may not be selfish in seeking for academic honors and thereby forget that my main objective in life is to make lighter the burden for my fellow man”.

Your Excellency, Ladies and Gentlemen;
I would not bother you again with a litany of our problems you already know, but permit me appeal for your usual way of intervention on our behalf, for effective construction works for the hydroelectric power project of a dam over river Menchum to begin soonest. This of course amongst other goodies would enable the nightmare on the Bamenda – Wum road to be a thing of the past. It is equally our wish that some urgent solution be put in place to savage the floods that have of recent characterized three of our four Sub Divisions.

Your Excellency, Ladies and Gentlemen;
It is over eight months today that our national unity is seriously threatened, caused by the concerns raised by Teachers and the Lawyers trade unions. While appreciating the Bishops, the Moderator of the P.C.C, the Baptist etc for already seeing the need for our children to go back to school, I would   applaud the numerous solutions already provided by Government and like in the book of Mathew 7, 9-10, it says would any of you who are fathers  give your son a stone when he ask for bread or would you give a snake when he ask for a fish?”, certainly not our great peace crusader President Paul Biya. We are confident that the Government will continue to provide lasting solutions to all these problems. It is therefore, in this note of optimism that I want to on behalf of this population pledge to you your Excellency, our total commitment to school resumption in this Division come September 2017.

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen;
Permit me once more thank our distinguished guests who have travelled from far and near to dignify and magnify this ceremony. Your presence here is a mark of love for the entire Menchum Division. President J.F. Kennedy once said “Geography has given us neighbours, History has given us friends, Economics has given us brothers, what God has put together, let no man put asunder let us therefore be more committed to each other in love and action through prayers, for  after all, all that we have or whom we are today, we didn’t create nor necessarily deserve, but for sure  the joy of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.

      Long live the Wum Municipality,
      Long live Menchum Division,
Long live the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization
Long live Cameroon.
Ndu Council to Construct Market at Ndu West
"The construction of Ndu West Market offers a unique opportunity to foster the growth of local farmers and entrepreneurs, and create 100% affordable sheds and warehouse," said the Mayor of Ndu Council Bunyui Emmanuel Nyugap "We are thrilled that the villages of Ntundip, Ngarum and Taku will allow us to move forward with our plan to rejuvenate a market that will continue to be a critical community and economic anchor for this neighborhood." According to information gathered the Ndu West market which is expected to serve the villages of Luh, Taku, Talla, Ndu, Ngarum, Ntundip and others will be constructed along the boundary of the three villages. The structure upon completion is expected to have 32 sheds and a warehouse. Prospects are high at that the Fon of Ntundip and notables will plant the symbolic tree which traditionally implants a market this week. At weekend, the Mayor of Ndu and his 1st Deputy, Martin Fon Yembe visited the site to identify the central point where the fon and his notables will perform the rituals.
It is expected that the market could be second to Ndu and or third to Sabongari market in terms of food items. Some of the food items include irish potatoes, beans, yams, cocoyam, corn etc as well as livestock such as goats, sheep, local fowls etc. Public opinion holds that this initiative by the council is a necessary tool for development.

July 25 (UPI) -- The next installment in the James Bond franchise has been set to release on Nov. 8, 2019.
The 25th film in the series, studios EON Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer made the announcement Monday and said the cast and the project's director will be unveiled at a later date.
Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who have penned the last six Bond films starting with 1999's The World is Not Enough are handling the script. MGM and EON are still searching for a U.S. studio partner after Sony's four-picture deal with the franchise ended with the release of 2015's Spectre.
Daniel Craig, who has been portraying the iconic British spy since 2006 with Casino Royale, and who was last seen in Spectre, will return as Bond in the new film, the New York Times reported, citing sources.
Following the release of Spectre, Craig originally expressed interest in leaving the role behind, famously stating in an interview that he would rather "slash his wrists" than make another 007 film. The actor changed his tune however and stated he would be willing to return in October 2016 when he said, "Boo-hoo. It's a good gig. I enjoy it."

War Against Boko Haram; Gov't Debunks Amnesty International Torture Allegations Report

The Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary has described the report by Amnesty
Minister Tchiroma
International as an outrageous accusatory report. Minister Tchiroma made the declaration in a preliminary statement during a press conference on July 21, 2017 on Amnesty International’s 2017 report entitled “ Cameroon’s secret torture chambers: human rights violations and war crimes in the fight against Boko Haram.”

Here below is the Preliminary statement

Distinguished Journalists,

The Amnesty International non-governmental organization published, twenty-four hours ago, on July 20, 2017, an outrageously accusatory report on the respect for human rights in the fight that our country is leading against the Boko Haram terrorist organisation.
The said report, as you are also aware, follows a similar one that was published in July 2016.
In its 2017 issue, Amnesty International chose to cross the whistle-blowing threshold and get into the category of accusation and legal and even judicial characterization of what it believes to have found in the struggle of our Defense and Security Forces against the Boko Haram obscurantist criminals.
For those who could still doubt it, the focus on Cameroon and its Defence and Security Forces, the accumulation of false and gross findings by Amnesty International prove that we are faced with a real destabilization campaign whose objectives have at least the merit of being clear. Amnesty International’, an organisation which is now playing the role of an organization for the defence of terrorist interests, is no more no less, aiming:
– To weaken the morale and effectiveness of Cameroonian Defense and Security Forces
– To annihilate on the operational level, the offensive initiatives which are causing the greatest harm to the aggressors;
– To tarnish the image of the Defence and Security Forces in the eyes of the international partners, and to dissociate them from the global response called for by the Head of State, Commander-in-chief of the Army, and in which Cameroon is a key link at regional level, and most especially at sub-regional level.
As a matter of fact, under the caption, and I quote: “Cameroon’s secret torture chambers: human rights violations and war crimes in the fight against Boko Haram”, end of quote, Amnesty International terms as executioner a legitimate and sovereign State, a regular and patriotic army against an organization yet criminal and fearing neither God nor man, whose sole aim is to occupy and take away a part of our territory to establish its caliphate. This organization driven by such an abject aspiration, seems to be perceived by Amnesty International, contrary to all expectations, as pious and angelic.
The action of our Defence and Security Forces is thus qualified as, and I quote, “widespread practice of torture committed by the security forces against ordinary Cameroonians, who are often arrested without any evidence and forced to endure unimaginable pain”, end of quote.
They go on saying, and I quote again, that « These horrific violations amount to war crimes. The overwhelming majority of victims were tortured in two unofficial detention sites; the headquarters of the Rapid Intervention Batallion (BIR) in Salak, near the northern city of Maroua, and a facility in the capital, Yaoundé run by the General Directorate of External Research (DGRE), Cameroon’s intelligence services, situated close to the country’s parliament”, end of quote.
Amnesty International, in keeping with its logic of protecting terrorist interests, begins to chastise in order to discourage such move, the cooperation of armies from friendly countries.
The US and French military are thus pinpointed and merely treated as accomplices of war crimes that the Army and the Cameroonian intelligence services would be, according to Amnesty International, perpetrating against innocent victims linked to Boko Haram.
From this standpoint, it should be noted that Amnesty International attaches its accusations to atrocities allegedly perpetrated by the Cameroonian Defence and Security Forces against ordinary citizens, based on fictitious or instrumentalized witness accounts, while trying to substantiate the allegations with inconsistent evidence that do not stand up to reality.
Let me give you a few examples:
-Who, if not an ill-intentioned person, can truly believe that a country that subjects Boko Haram bloodthirsty criminals, even when arrested with weapons in their hands, would be reduced to perpetrating atrocities against its own population? If our Army carried out extra-judiciary killings as Amnesty International claims, would there be more than a thousand Boko Haram prisoners in our prisons treated humanely, as is the case today, in spite of the unspeakable atrocities committed by Boko Haram especially against the civilian populations.
Any fighter of this terrorist organization arrested on the national territory is subjected to an investigation and a judgment in the competent courts according to the rules of the law. Significant financial resources are being made available for their care, as well as for the development and rehabilitation of their places of detention.
-In its demonization move, Amnesty International is targeting the BIR, an elite unit of our Army, in an attempt to demolish the concrete base of our Defense and Security Forces. But Amnesty International may be unaware that BIR, in so far as it is an elite unit, is above all, a component of our Army and that it is the Head of State, in his capacity as Commander-in-chief of the Army that is vested with the exclusive power of distributing the roles of the various components on the battle grounds.
Amnesty International is questioning the fact that the government decided at some point to relocate schools, which would have been later transformed into detention and torture centres. But what is it all about? To refresh Amnesty International’s memory, schools are among the preferred targets of Boko Haram’s obscurantist propaganda and one of the main consequences of the war was the closure of schools with the risk of successive blank years during the three years of war. Courageously, the State of Cameroon initially relocated schools thanks to the solidarity of the populations who welcomed the pupils at the most critical moment of the war.
As the situation was getting more and more stable, schools gradually reopened with the imperative duty for the Defense and Security Forces to ensure the protection of students. If this presence is assimilated to a breach of international commitments, the choice is soon made for Cameroon. This example, among many others, demonstrates Amnesty International’s apparent bad faith and its methods of making up and manipulating the truth.
Let me make it clear to Amnesty International, and also to any other interlocutor within the national and international community, that in this fight, no atrocity is being tolerated from our Defence and Security Forces in the various actions carried out in operations. The principle is to strictly comply with international humanitarian and human rights law, on which our Army and Security Forces have received rigorous training, leaving no room for stubbornness. To this end, a training centre has been set up in Mindif in the Far North Region, where the humanitarian law modules are being taught. The Head of State, Commander-in Chief-of the Armed Forces, has on each occasion in his public addresses, commended the army for their sense of discipline, professionalism and respect of ethical values.
Nevertheless, whenever any misconduct is noticed, it is punished with objectivity and leaving no room for any complacency once it is proven. Respect for human rights and the principles set out by various international organizations on this matter, are among the unavoidable constraints of the legitimate actions carried out by Cameroon against terrorism. It is in this perspective that the authorities in high command spare no effort to heavily punish any proven behavioral differences, going to the extent of dismissing soldiers convicted of committing abuses on civilians. Whatever the case, they can be isolated cases of abuse, but whenever exposed, their authors are punished adequately without any complacency. Meanwhile, a detachment is affected to each troop at the battle front. This detachment made up of judicial police officers is looking for offenses, collecting evidence and refer the defaulters before the competent military courts. Beyond the purely disciplinary field, the perpetrators of eventual abuses are placed at the disposal of the courts under the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The perfect compliance of our country with such principles has been formally acknowledged by the UN Human Rights Council during its April 1, 2015 Session in Geneva.
As a matter of fact, during this meeting, the UN Human Rights Council reaffirmed the appreciation of the United Nations system to Cameroon for the actions carried out by our country in this regard.
Calling for greater international solidarity, the Human Rights Council warmly congratulated Cameroon for the efforts undertaken, alongside all other countries affected by the atrocities of Boko Haram for a final eradication of this scourge.
The Government seizes this opportunity to hail the synergies of action between Cameroon and the international community in this fight that the country is leading alongside other front-line States, whether within the framework of the Multinational Joint Task Force or Bilateral cooperation with neighboring armies and especially the Nigerian Army.
The Government is grateful to all the friendly countries that have come to support the people of Cameroon in their fight against the terrorist peril.
All in all, the Cameroonian Defense and Security Forces are leading a legitimate, clean and regular war against a horde of terrorists whose only ideology is that of crime. To do this, the Cameroonian Defense and Security Forces rely on the populations that provide them with reliable information. The quality of the Army-Nation relations is excellent, the image of the army is improved by the civilian and military actions carried out in favor of these populations, who are devoted to a model of “soldier of peace”.
This perception is visible whenever the Defense Forces crisscross villages in the zones of ??action where it receives encouragement from many at each of its passages. Press trips with credible international journalists who have free access to the populations can describe the state of relations between the army and the people. Moreover, the concept of Defense in Cameroon is grounded on the notion of popular Defense whose permanent element is the granitic tie between the Army and the Nation.
In any case, Amnesty International’s view of Cameroon’s military action against Boko Haram cannot, without running the risk of discrediting itself, be diametrically opposed to the reports of other credible international organizations, such as that of the United Nations Commission for Refugees. It is, therefore, asking questions about these allegations, which are in dissonance with a country that is hosting hundreds of thousands of refugees feeling at home in Cameroon to the point of no longer wanting to return home.
What is more striking in Amnesty International’s continuing hostility to Cameroon and particularly in the struggle of our nation against the terrorist enemy is the complete ignorance of the heavy toll that our country is paying as a result of the imposed aggression, under the banner of the obscurantism and barbarism of others.
All this seem not to have been enough to arouse the empathy of Amnesty International that, on the contrary, persistently attacked Cameroonian Defence and Security Forces.
Perharps, Amnesty International would have preferred Cameroon not to react to such aggression and ignore the horrors suffered by our people and our Army. Then, we would have surely been hailed by this organization, yet mandated to defend human rights.
If we go by Amnesty International’s logic, the only crime committed by the Cameroonian Government would have been to defend its terrirorial integrity and protect the persons and goods within its boundaries.
Unfortunately for Amnesty International, neither the Cameroonian people nor the international community would advance their cause.
In fact, what Amnesty International and her partners should know is that they have outpassed an unacceptable line in their attack against Cameroon as they have blatantly uncovered the location of Cameroon’s strategic infrastructures, thereby pinpointing these infrastructures as a key target for Boko Haram and the Islamic State to which the terrorist group is associated. Disclosing such sensitive information, more importantly in a country at war, cannot be tolerated. These are unacceptable breaches against our national security for which Amnesty International would be held accountable. Relevant services are currently reviewing the report of Amnesty International and all the legal implications will be sorted out. Henceforth, this organisation must be regarded as hostile to our Army and our Fatherland.
On his part, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Army, has committed our nation into a multidimensional counter attack, in a bid to appropriately respond to the aggression faced by Cameroon.
The international community joined Cameroon in this fight through diverse interventions of either military, logistic, or strategic nature.
To date, and even though Boko Haram has retained some capacity to cause harm, it has now been pushed to its limits and is certainly living the last days of its morbid existence.
Apparently, this outcome is not what Amnesty International would have desired. This therefore leads us to question her actual motives and hidden agenda.
We also believe that in the community of nations, Cameroon cannot expect to have only friends and that some of her rivals might be wishing to see the country in trouble. Growing impatient to see this ill-fated purpose come true, maybe they would see in terrorism a convenient way to achieve their goal.
Above all, the Cameroonian Government reaffirms its utmost support to our Defence and Security Forces whose courage helped us preserve to the ultimate sacrifice, the country’s territorial integrity.
The Government especially commends the active solidarity of the Cameroonian people and her widespread mobilization in favour of our Defence and Security Forces and the people in the Far-North Region, who are victims of Boko Haram’s crimes.
Cameroon is and will remain united behind its leader, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Army.
The attachment of the people of Cameroon to the values of peace, national unity and solidarity will ever remain unshakeable notwithstanding the high maneuvers of mermaids of destabilization and demobilization.
The people of Cameroon will more than ever, continue to move forward with dignity and determination on the path set forth by the Head of State towards achieving its emergence.
Thank you for your kind attention.”

Neymar on 500,000 Pounds/Week Contract with PSG in World Record Deal... See Details

Barcelona forward, Neymar has reportedly agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain over a six-year contract and will earn a whopping 500,000 Pounds per week should he eventual join the Ligue 1 side.

Barca star, Neymar

Barcelona forward Neymar has reportedly agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain over a six-year contract, according to Bleacher report.
Carlos Carpio of Marca, reportedly said that Neymar's father recently met with PSG sporting director, Antero Henrique and board member, Sophie Jordan to finalise the transfer.
Carpio suggested the deal will go through when PSG "deposit the €222 million of [Neymar's] termination clause, which it appears will be done via the personal sponsorship of Qatar."
Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol provided further figures included in the report:

The initial report suggested the salary Neymar would earn at the Parc des Princes would match that of his Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi.
According to Carpio, the Brazilian came close to leaving the Blaugrana last summer, with Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG all interested in taking him away from the Camp Nou.
PSG are said to be staying calm despite the pace at which the potential deal is moving, although "according to what the player's father has said to [PSG], it seems that this time Neymar will keep his word."

The report was echoed by a source Bryan Swanson of Sky Sports News quoted:

Neymar was in action for Barcelona on Saturday in New Jersey, netting twice in a dazzling performance against Juventus. After that 2-1 win, Blaugrana manager Ernesto Valverde downplayed the speculation.
"Barca are not going to go without Neymar," he said, per Sport. "We want him with us. We know the importance he has in our play."
If PSG were to land the Barcelona man, it would smash the world-record transfer fee. That figure stands at £89 million, which Manchester United paid to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in the summer of 2016.

For Barca, Neymar's departure would be a significant blow, as he has been crucial to their success in recent seasons alongside Messi and Luis Suarez.
However, if PSG are willing to buy the player out of his Barcelona contract, and the man himself is enticed by the Parc des Princes project, there is little the Catalan giants can do to prevent this transfer from going through.

Ladies, Take Note: These are 7 Things Women Should Always Do

There are certain things all women should ensure to do after a session of s*x. These are some of those things.  After s*x, there are a few things a woman should do to keep healthy, such as these ones…

1 • Wipe down with gentle soap and water.

Bacteria from the fingers, mouth, and rectum can increase a woman’s chance of developing yeast or bacterial infection after s*x, says obstetrics-gynaecologist, Sherry Ross. She recommends using a non-fragrant soap to wash the vagina after s*x.

Simply take a warm washcloth and gently dab the area with soap and water (or just warm water), moving from front to back. “Internal cleaning (such as douching) isn’t necessary, because the v*gina has its own internal wash cycle that keeps it clean and balanced, she adds. So, no douches allowed.

2 • Soak in the bathtub.

Besides making you feel like the pampered s*x queen that you are, adding extra virgin coconut oil to a warm bath can help hydrate the skin of the outer vagina and sooth any v*ginal swelling or irritation that occurs after s*x, says Ross. Again, this reduces your risk of infection, she adds.

3 • Drink water.

You may need to hydrate after a vigorous sex, says Dr. Nicole Scott. Dehydration affects your entire body; so, if your mouth is dry and/or your vagina felt like sandpaper during sex, you definitely need to refuel with water. Right after sex, drink a pint or two of water. That will hydrate you and help flush pesky Urinary Tract Infection-causing bacteria from your bladder.

4 • Eat probiotic-rich foods.

Yogurt and other fermented foods have the same good bacteria that are found in the vagina, says another gynaecologist, Dr. Kelly Kasper. Getting into the habit of snacking on these foods after sex can help to replenish the body’s good bacteria, helping to decrease your risk of yeast infection.

5 • Don’t wear panties!

Once you’re so fresh and so clean-clean, ward off UTIs and other infections by wearing cotton underwear and loose-fitting pyjamas to keep your privates dry — or, better yet, go commando for optimum air circulation. At the very least, avoid nylon underwear and tight-fitting sleepwear, which can trap moisture and help bacteria grow, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.

6 • Pee!

The vagina is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, because of its moist and warm nature. That’s why you must pee within the next 30minutes after sex.

7 • Note your discomfort during s*x.

Sometimes, sex can be painful or uncomfortable for a woman. It is therefore important for you to keep a note of when this happens. There are multiple reasons why sex can be painful for women. The most common reason is vagina dryness. Constipation, or muscle spasm can also be responsible; just as deep penetration can also make sex painful, especially if your partner isn’t hard enough. If you regularly feel discomfort during sex, it is better to consult a doctor.

President Alpha Conde Orders 24 Hours Prayer for President Buhari

Troubled by President Muhammadu Buhari's state of health, the president of Guinea has ordered 24 hours prayer for Nigeria's leader.

Alpha Conde

Alpha Condé, the Guinean President, asked all Muslims in the country to hold a 24-hour prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
According to The Punch, Condé gave this order while addressing the country’s Council of Ministers in a meeting on Thursday.
At the meeting, the Guinean President expressed concern for his Nigerian counterpart’s health and afterwards declared that Friday be devoted to prayers for Buhari’s quick recovery.
According to an online platform, www.guineenews.org, Condé said Buhari was expected to visit Nigeria in March, but was unable to do so because of his health.
As a result, the Guinean President asked that prayers be held in all mosques in the country in what he described as a day of prayers for Buhari.
About 85 per cent of the Guinean population (11 million) are Muslims; eight per cent are Christians; while seven per cent are traditionalists.
Buhari had since May 7, 2017, two months after returning from a 49-day London medical trip, returned to the country again for medical treatment.
His long absence from work had intensified calls for his health status to be made public, while several Nigerians had called for his resignation.
A suit had been filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja asking for an order compelling the Federal Executive Council to declare the ailing President as unfit to continue to hold office and another suit mandating the National Assembly to constitute a medical panel to verify the President’s fitness.
The suit, marked FHC/ABJ/CS/671/2017, was filed on Thursday by the incorporated trustees of a civil society group, Kingdom Human Rights Foundation International.
In February 2017, Muslims in major state capitals and towns in the North had also held marathon prayers for the quick recovery of President Buhari.

The special prayer sessions were held at various Eid prayer grounds in Nasarawa, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Kwara states.

Former Minister Could be Charged for Money Laundering by US Court

Former Petroleum Minister, Allison-Madueke may be having so much to worry about, as the US Justice Department is set to take her up on fraud cases filed against her.

A former US State Department Nigeria specialist, Mathew Page, has suggested that a US civil forfeiture case to seize $144 million of assets from two cronies of Diezani Alison-Madueke, may just be the start of her legal troubles with America.
US Justice Department last week filed an asset recovery case in Houston against Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko, seeking the seizure of luxury property, including a New York apartment and super-yacht, bought by one of the businessmen. The two businessmen, at the detriment of Nigerian treasury,  were heavily favoured by Diezani, during her tenure as Nigeria’s oil minister.
“Although this is the first attempt by US law enforcement to go after assets allegedly stolen by Diezani and her henchmen, it almost certainly will not be the last,” the  AFP reported Mathew Page  as saying.
At present, Diezani faces charges only at home but her name crops up in a growing number of international cases that lift the lid on the scale of alleged corruption in the country’s oil sector.
Since leaving office in 2015, she has been implicated in bribery, fraud, misuse of public funds, and money laundering cases in Nigeria, Britain, Italy and the United States.
The first female president of the global oil cartel OPEC — who was one of Africa’s most prominent politicians — has always denied the allegations, which involve billions of dollars syphoned from oil deals and state coffers.
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, elected in 2015 on a promise to eliminate graft, has said that “mind-boggling” sums of public money were stolen by previous administrations.
Officials in Abuja say they are talking with US prosecutors about repatriating the money if the civil forfeiture claim is successful.
Alison-Madueke served under president Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 to 2015 and was Nigeria’s first female minister of petroleum resources. But her tenure was dogged by scandal.
On her watch, the former central bank governor Lamido Sanusi was sacked for claiming the state-run Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had failed to remit $20 billion.
In one case heard in Nigeria in February, Alison-Madueke was accused of diverting some $153 million from the NNPC coffers.
In another ongoing trial, some 23 billion naira ($73 million) of NNPC money is alleged to have been used to influence the 2015 presidential election to keep Jonathan in power.
Lat week, prosecutors in Lagos  began proceedings to recover $1.76 billion of assets owned by Kola Aluko and Jide Omokore, whose companies were awarded oil contracts by Alison-Madueke.
On Wednesday, another judge ordered the forfeiture of Alison-Madueke’s $37.5 million luxury Lagos property, saying it was purchased with ill-gotten funds.
Meanwhile, Italian prosecutors allege that she and Jonathan received kickbacks from oil majors ENI and Shell as part of a $1.3-billion deal for an offshore oil block in Nigeria.
Charges relating to the same oil block deal have also been filed against the oil majors and some senior Nigerian politicians.
Jonathan and Alison-Madueke are not named in the suit but the former president is under pressure from parliament to answer questions about the so-called Malabu deal.
Finally, Diezani-Madueke was arrested in London in October 2015 in connection with a British probe into international corruption and money laundering, but she was freed on bail.
As the international cases pile up, anti-graft campaigners hope the growing body of evidence will boost current President Muhammadu Buhari’s faltering war on corruption.
Several high-profile figures in Jonathan’s government have been charged with corruption since Buhari came to power, however so far there have been no major convictions.
Still, some activists believe the overseas cases will serve as a powerful example of justice.
Debo Adeniran, of the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders lobby group, said the latest cases involving Alison-Madueke, Aluko and Omokore could be a “morale booster”.
“Once a conviction is got abroad, the right signal will be sent to all looters that the judgment day has come,” he said. “The fight against corruption will receive a boost. At last, the chickens are coming home to roost.”
Dolapo Oni, an oil analyst with Ecobank, said that in contrast to Nigeria’s sluggish courts, the overseas corruption cases may be concluded faster.
But whatever positive impact that may have, fears remain that with Buhari on indefinite medical leave, his anti-corruption war is losing momentum.
Leading Nigerian lawyer Festus Keyamo said the cases demonstrated the need fundamentally to overhaul the NNPC — and to investigate just how far up corruption went in the ruling elite.
“The big unanswered questions: is it possible one Minister allegedly stole so much without the knowledge, connivance & approval of the C-in-C (commander-in-chief)?”, he tweeted.

Katrine further said that she got greedy and wanted more money, thus had to go in for spiritual backup. However her visit to a spiritualist, turned out to be her worst decision.
According to her the aftermath of her visit to the spiritualist was that any man she slept with, lost his life afterwards, and she confronted the Spiritualist who told her it was the price she had to pay for her wealth while adding that it was irreversible.
She confessed that "over 100 men had already died, and 70 more were rendered impotent after sleeping with her before she eventually found out what the cause was."
Katrine also said she's having a big regret over the whole situation, saying “though I have acquired the needed wealth one could desire for in life, am still not a happy person because of this predicament in my life”
