Former SDF Presidential Aspirant Quits, Takes Leadership Position with CNDP

Teche Nyamusa: Chairman of CNDP

Teche Nyamusa, the one-time SDF Presidential Aspirant has dumped the Social Democratic Front to take leadership position with Cameroon National Democratic Party. Teche Nyamusa who for over 10 years now has been a thorn in the flesh of sit-tied SDF leaders has decided to pursuit his Presidential ambition by crossing the carpet. His attempts to unseat SDF chieftain Ni John Fru Ndi as chairman and even Presidential candidate have made him being “scape-goated” by the Fru Ndi supporters yet he was still vocal until last April 24, 2018 when he decided to quit the SDF.
Those who were of the opinion that Teche Nyamusa was only a drummer in the middle of the road were taken aback when the Supreme Ruling council (S.R.C) of CNDP accepted unanimously the nomination of Mr Felix Teche Nyamusa former S.D.F Presidential aspirant as National Chairman of C.N.D.P.
S.R.C as well accepted unanimously the proposal of the following persons into the supreme ruling positions of the party; Mr Ngala Charles as secretary General and Madam Bridget Mulu Pen as treasurer. The rest of the executive members were maintained in their positions. S.R.C insisted that the new and old members of the executive should swing to work immediately to get the party ready for forth coming elections and other party activities and the confirmation of the executive will be at the plenary in no distant time.
The new CNDP Chairman Felix Teche Nyamusa joyfully accepted the post and promised to work for the interest of all Cameroonians particularly the marginalized. He promised that C.N.D.P under him will listen to the Anglophones as well as francophones. S.R.C accepted the resignation of Baron Peinyam as interim chairman but maintains him as National Adviser. C.N.D.P. resolved to effect a change of her name from Cameroon National Democratic Party to Liberation National Party (L.N.P).
