Paul and John concerting on the future of Cameroon |
Before SDF militants throw away the idea of matchets to
the dogs, it is no longer new that Ni John Fru Ndi’s interest must have been
protected. That Ni John Fru Ndi, the National chairman of the Social Democratic
Front-SDF sealed a secret deal with the ruling CPDM is no more news. Yet the
deal has never been made public until the CPDM list in the West Region and
Adamawa regions were rejected before the real insight of the deal started
revealing itself.
It is on record that CPDM bigwigs of the West Region have
started campaigning for SDF list since last weekend and the questions as to
whether the vast majority of legal experts of the nation being of that party,
the Central Committee couldn’t have been so ignorant as to be unable to
constitute a file in conformity with the law has come to null. That the
mistakes errors committed out of good fate for the SDF lists to excel is what
political analysts say is part of the hidden truth. Informed opinion therefore holds that the
present state of affairs is owing to the deal between the SDF and the CPDM. So
then is the strong suggestion that CPDM and SDF did strike a secret deal for
the ruling party to sacrifice the Northwest and the West Regions to the SDF. In
the former region, there is virtual parity between the two parties. In the
latter, CDU has some four councils only out of forty or more. Consequently is
it no match to SDF. Even the possibility of sharing is far too remote. That leaves
SDF with at least 10 seats. More so, allegations are also rife that Paul Biya
will appoint 6 SDF militants into the senate.
A similar secret deal appears to have been sealed between CPDM and UNDP whereby the former is not contesting senatorial election in the Adamaoua Region. Like the SDF, UNDP may end up with 10 seats minimum from the Adamaoua and the North Regions. At the end of it all, Only CDU will come worse off even if as hinted that 50.1% will not be considered as absolute majority. This is true as all CPDM mayors of the West region recently issued a motion of support to President Paul Biya despite the fact that the list for that region was disqualified.

Sources say Jean Kwete maybe appointed President of the
Senate while Hamadjoda Hadjodi would be his vice. According to the hinted that
both Jean Kwete and Hamadjodi will be compensated with appointments into the
senate and later catapulted to the helm. It is alleged that the name Akwafo
Bernadette Djeudo for planted on the CPDM list from the West at the Central
Committee and that the Secretary General was aware. That is why her certificate
of non-conviction was issued by the police and not the court. Even the police
we gathered are aware that they do not issue certificates of non-convictions. There
is even the case of Gonsu Fotsin whose candidature was not legalized and
submitted in three copies.
In Adamawa for example, the list is being rejected
because an alternate was unable to produce the receipt that he had registered
in the electoral list. Ngoba Jacque and Bakary Etienne were faulted and that is
how the list of Adamawa was rejected.
According a classified source at the Central Committee of
the CPDM, a similar scenario was to happen to the list from the North West
given that two names of the lists were changed. Wallang Akwo David’s name
became Assam David while Wanlo John was also changed to Nyako Julius. According
to the hint the names were later rectified after the press shouted out loud on
the planned errors.
According to what we gathered the prohibition of
election results is not for nothing. Sources say the Supreme Court will timeline
the results as such that only 60.1% will be considered as absolute majority. According
to what we gathered this decision will only be made public by the Supreme Court
when the moment comes. Highly classified sources also confirmed to The Eye that
the strategy is such that none of the four political participating in the
elections must pick a seat. Should 60.1% be validated as absolute majority then
the CPDM and the SDF will share the seats in the Northwest Region given the
narrow difference of voters. Fru Ndi and Achidi Achu would both be senators.
With Fru Ndi demonstrating a lot of hopes as he did in Ndu where he told the
population that he was coming for their final blessings into the senate, there
is no doubt that the deal between Fru Ndi and President Biya envoy (Belinga
Eboutou) has paid him off. It is even
alleged that when Yang Philemon summoned candidates to strategize in Bamenda
before campaigns, Achidi Achu came 10 minutes to the end of the meeting. This is
so because Achidi Achu we gathered is aware of the deal.
