President Attributes Salaries to Govt Delegates, Mayors, Deputy Mayors

President Paul Biya has signed a decree attributing salaries to Government Delegates, Mayors and Deputy Mayors. The decree to this effect was signed yesterday September 16, 2015. Government Delegates to earn 400.000 Fcfa per month while mayors will earn 250.000 Fcfa.  Deputy government Delegates will henceforth earn 200.000 Fcfa per month while Deputy Mayors will get 150.000 Fcfa. It should be recalled that mayors and Deputies had threatened a sit-in strike given that they work everyday yet are not recognized and or compensated. Details of the decree soon....
