President Paul Biya
has sent three University Rectors packing and appointing in the
State Universities. The head of stated
also appointed officials of the
Ministry of Higher Education including Cameroon's diplomatic missions abroad, South Africa, Germany, Algeria,
Belgium, Great Britain, Canada, China, Nigeria,
France, Morocco and
the United States.
TSAFACK Nanfosso replaces ANACLETH Fometh in Dschang, while Francois Xavier Etoa replaces Dieudonne Oyono in Douala and meanwhile Ibrahima ADAMOU takes over from Oumarou BOUBA of Yde II, Soa. Joyce Bayande Endeley, Director of ENSET KUMBA was the only director who was sent packing while a new registrar was appointed at the University of Bamenda. Eventhough the VC for UBa and others were spared, it is alleged a mighty storm is gathering to sweep some of them soon.
