The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship is now open for applications! This prestigious program brings together 16 young professionals from the Global South working in climate and clean energy to strengthen their expertise, expand global networks, and engage with leading voices in the field.
Participants come from diverse backgrounds—public service, entrepreneurship, energy, finance, media, education, research, civil society, law, and policymaking—creating a rich and dynamic learning environment.
📍 Programme Timeline & Locations
Feb 1–5, 2027: In-person session at Yale University (New Haven, USA)
March–June 2027: Virtual learning journeys
June 14–18, 2027: Closing week in Paris
💸 Fully Funded Opportunity
There are no participation fees. The fellowship covers:
-International travel ✈️
-Accommodation 🏨
-Meals 🍽️
(for both in-person sessions in New Haven and Paris)
Each cohort is carefully selected to ensure regional diversity and a strong mix of professional backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
