Journalists for Human Rights Program 2026 – Training, Coaching and Reporting Grant Opportunities




Are you a full-time or freelance journalist, or a community reporter committed to human rights and inclusive governance? Applications are open for the Journalists for Human Rights Capacity Building and Support Program 2026.

Selected journalists will receive specialised training in safe human rights reporting, gender-sensitive journalism, governance coverage, and combating misinformation and disinformation. Successful trainees may later become eligible to apply for small human rights reporting grants, while selected participants may also receive on-the-job coaching.
