If Your Partner Does Any Of These 5 Things, You Need to Think Twice

There are certain red flags that point out the fact that you should not be in a relationship with your current partner. These are some of those things. Human relationships are dotted with challenges, such that there may be no perfect relationship anywhere And while many people would give their very life to keep a relationship, experts counsel that if your partner is guilty of these six thins, you may have to reconsider that relationship!
What are the red flags? These ones…
• They act like your child:
Instead of looking for a girlfriend or wife, some men desire to marry a woman who would act as their mother-wife all rolled up into one. As well as this being no fun, it’s a bad sign of the man’s character that he is taking advantage of you like this.

• They make you feel drained:
It’s officially not fun anymore when you come away from time with them and feel exhausted.
A relationship therapist, Dr. Ian Kerner, warns that this red flag can be resolved. Try to pinpoint what it is about being with your partner that makes you feel this way.
Then try to raise the issue with him or her. If you can’t resolve it, or if you feel you don’t want to put energy into trying, it could be time to walk away.
• They don’t trust you:
Not trusting you can be due to their own insecurities, but it’s not your fault, and nor is it your job to go above and beyond the call of duty to show them you’re trustworthy.
• Odd behaviour: You know what this is, don’t you?
• They’re rude to waiters:
Another recurring character trait that puts people off their date is when the person is rude to the person bringing them food. This is a hard and fast rule for friendships too.

Miracles Thing: Pastor Tries to Fly Like an Angel to Jerusalem, Ends Up Breaking Leg

A pastor has stunned church members after trying to fly like an angel to Jerusalem only to end up breaking his legs.

Illustrative photo by SDE

According to a report by SDE, the residents of a village in Singorwet ward, Bomet County, Kenya were treated to a nerve wrecking drama last Sunday after a local church pastor unsuccessfully attempted to fly to Jerusalem using artificial wings, falling off a tree and breaking his legs.
The man of God, famous in the village for predicting the second coming of Jesus on several occasions,  something which has never come to pass, is said to have gone round the village announcing his departure to Jerusalem.
This, he said, was following an invitation by God himself in a dream.
Eyewitnesses said the pastors, who had tied improvised wings made of polythene bags and rags to his shoulders, had also spoken during his sermon early Sunday, of his imminent trip to Jerusalem.

“We thought he was joking until he appeared dressed in his flying gear, bidding people farewell,” said the witness.

After a short prayer, the pastor asked curious members of his church, who had gathered to see him off, to escort him to a tall Eucalyptus tree, which he claimed was a suitable take off point, as revealed to him by God.

The pastor climbed atop the tree. Nervous parishioners, thinking that the man of God was on a suicide mission, alerted the chief who in turn called the police and ambulances for an emergency rescue.

Word had gone round and within a short time, the scene was jammed with thousands of locals, eager to see the man of God flying to Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, authorities were frantically trying to get him to climb down.

Attempts by the choir master, a very close friend to the pastor, to convince him to abandon his flight to Jerusalem fell on deaf years as the pastor stood his ground, insisting, “I must fly to Jerusalem”.

“You cannot stop an idea whose time has come more so when it has the blessings of the most high! Just let me go!” insisted the pastor atop the tall tree.
Elders were soon summoned to come and convince the adamant pastor against attempting to take off without their blessings.
But the elders were met with utter shock when the man of God rebuked them, saying God was showing him the elders burning in hell for trying to stop him.

“You can command humans to stop going against worldly cultures but commanding against God’s commandment is impossible.
“You should rather repent because these are the last days, Jesus is coming back,” the pastor retorted.

Cries and mourning of women and children who feared for the pastor’s life, did not deter the man of God.
When he discovered that a young man who had climbed the tree to get him was almost catching up with him, he spread his wings and took a plunge.
The wings, as expected, malfunctioned. The pastor came tumbling down with a thud, and immediately began wailing, asking for help. Upon closer scrutiny, he had broken his legs, his nose was bleeding and he later passed out. He was rushed to a local hospital where he is recuperating.

CPJ announces 2017 International Press Freedom Award winners

New York, July 18, 2017—The Committee to Protect Journalists will honor journalists from Cameroon, Mexico, Thailand, and Yemen with its 2017 International Press Freedom Awards. The journalists have faced government harassment, death threats, or imprisonment in their pursuit of the truth. CPJ is also honoring PBS journalist Judy Woodruff with its inaugural Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award.
CPJ’s 2017 IPFA awardees are:
Ahmed Abba, a correspondent for Radio France Internationale’s Hausa service, who was imprisoned in Cameroon in July 2015. He was convicted on terrorism-related charges and sentenced in early 2017 to 10 years in prison in connection with his coverage of the extremist sect Boko Haram.
Patricia Mayorga, a correspondent for the Mexico City-based newsmagazine Proceso, who has received threats over her coverage of alleged links between Mexico’s ruling party and organized crime, forced disappearances, and human rights issues.
Pravit Rojanaphruk, a critical reporter and press freedom advocate in Thailand, who was harassed by the government and detained twice in recent years over his coverage of Thai politics and human rights.
Afrah Nasser, a leading Yemeni reporter and blogger, who covers tensions in her home country from Sweden, where she lives in exile. Nasser, who also reports on human rights violations, women’s issues, and press freedom, fled Yemen after receiving death threats over articles that criticized the regime during the 2011 uprising.
“Journalists around the world face growing threats and pressure,” said CPJ Executive Director Joel Simon. “Those we honor are the most courageous and committed. They stand as an example that journalism matters.”
CPJ’s inaugural Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award will be presented to Judy Woodruff, the award-winning broadcast journalist and managing editor of “PBS NewsHour.” Woodruff has covered news and politics at CNN, NBC, and PBS for more than three decades.  The award honors the memory of Gwen Ifill, the award-winning PBS “NewsHour” journalist and CPJ senior advisor and former board member who died in November 2016. The award will be presented to individuals who show extraordinary and sustained achievement in the cause of press freedom.
“It's wonderful that the first person honored by the prize named for Gwen Ifill is her PBS partner and friend, Judy Woodruff,” said CPJ Board Chair Kathleen Carroll. “Woodruff has a storied career and, like Ifill, also makes tireless contributions to the profession and to journalists. She is the epitome of the values that CPJ stands for and it is an honor to present her with the first Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award.”
All of the winners will be honored at CPJ’s annual award and benefit dinner. This year’s chairman is David Rhodes, president of CBS News. The host will be Christiane Amanpour, chief international correspondent for CNN and CPJ senior advisor. The event is at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City on November 15, 2017.

Note to editors: CPJ International Press Freedom Award winners are available for interviews, upon request, prior to the awards dinner on November 15, 2017. Media accreditation for coverage of the awards dinner will begin on October 23.

Fru Ndi's Challenger Publishes Own Manifesto

Teche Nyamusa, the self proclaimed candidate to challenge chairman Ni John Fru Ndi as SDF National chairman/ 2018 Presidential elections has made public his political manifesto.

Here below are the excerpts of Teche Nyamusa's political manifesto

Felix Teche Nyamusa, candidate for SDF National chair/Cameroon 2018 presidential elections, manifesto excerpts:

The Nyamusa campaign goes for a two states federal Cameroon of equal status – bi-jural, bilingual, bicultural …

The Nyamusa campaign normally recognizes the “Right to self determination” of all including “Ambaland”.

Nyamusa urges “Anglophones” and “Francophones” to each come up with the education system and/or other adaptations that suit her, if need be.

President Felix Teche Nyamusa(pending your votes) pledges to pay reparations to all marginalized, deprived, subjugated Cameroonians from independence till date.

Nyamusa plans to restore the appellation for our country – “Federal Democratic United Cameroon Republic” or so of the original goals of President Ahmadou Ahidjo and Premier John Ngu Foncha and their comrades of the 1961 plebiscite.

Federal Democratic United Cameroon Republic will have at least three parliaments comprising of: a Federal parliament; an Anglophone State parliament; a Francophone state parliament. In addition to of course an elected federal president; each state will have an elected governor; elected federal parliamentarians of the federal parliament; elected state parliamentarians; of course elected local councilors with elected council chairpersons. No to government delegates, No to DOs, No to SDOs, No to appointed governors as obtained in the CPDM(former CNU) era.

The Federal government shall derive its power from state governments. Though the Federal government is superior and acts commander-in- chief, no law or decision proposal will become federal law without the approval of at least majority members of each state - hence the minority state in population will never be dictated to by the majority state in population. Equally the right to self determination is therefore reinforced.

In the envisaged Federal Democratic United Cameroon Republic, separation of powers will be total. If president is from one state, the vice must be of the other state and vice versa. If different presidents of the same state consecutively remain in power for four (single or double) terms of office, then obligatorily the fifth term president will go to the dormant state and the vice goes to the domineering state. Each term of office of the president shall be four years renewable once.

ELECAM which is pro CPDM will be replaced with a unanimously (considering the meaningful political parties, civil society, clergy, youths, women …) accepted elections body.

No to “Anglophones” marginalization; No to “Francophones” marginalization!

Nyamusa believes in pan Africa, pan Cameroon but we must go to equity with clean hands. Nyamusa believes in meaningful friendly inter countries cooperation.

My party SDF manifesto ably compliments these! These and more democratic ideals are achievable !

Dictatorship can be removed or thrown out either through the door or window by resorting to the last Cameroon resolve - an article originating from international human rights and United Nations charters and ratified by our country Cameroon government!

The Nyamusa campaign has a listening ear to all Cameroonians.

President Nyamusa (pending your votes) will tackle Boko Haram and related challenges fundamentally in a way not to clampdown or challenge foreign freedom fighters but taking optimum care of Cameroon’s borders. The plight of the Bakas, Bororos … minorities is of great concern to the Nyamusa crusade.

Nyamusa campaign pledges to make SDF her base an example of democracy where elective secretary general will be reintroduced, the erection of a befitting national secretariat, ensure effective separation of powers particularly at the apex party ruling organ (NEC).

The Nyamusa 2018 Cameroon presidential campaign complete manifesto is contained in a book – “Effective Democratic Succession in Cameroon” in English and French in bookshops nationwide!

The Nyamusa campaign advocates for the abolition of the French backed “Francs CFA” currency for a national or Africa regional currency as soon as possible to enhance industrialization and an improved fiscal policy to say the least!

May God guide Cameroon!

After Introducing "Anointed Soil", Pastor Sells 'Anointed Sand' for Miracles

A pastor has stunned his church members with a new trend after he began selling 'anointed sand' to them for miracles.

Prophet Brighton Chikomo

Prophet Brighton Chikomo, the controversial leader of Bright Light Deliverance Ministry, has brewed another shocker after introducing ‘anointed ‘soil to his congregants.
According to iHarare, the congregants scrambled for soil sachets during his service in Norton last Sunday, with the prophet saying the soil had some anointing power in it for transforming one’s fortunes. One man said he was taking the soil because she had been told that it brought anointing in people’s lives.
"I want that soil because the prophet told us it changes lives and it’s not new to me. I came here some months ago and I was given anointed oranges and they boosted my sexual prowess. My marriage, which was on the verge of collapse, has been revived by anointed oranges. I am taking anointed soil without any hesitation because I believe it will change my life. This is now or never for my breakthrough,” said the man.
Another woman also said anointed honey brought fortunes to her life.
“Anointed honey opened my womb and I was barren for years, but by the time I consumed ‘anointed honey’ it changed my life. The moment I took ‘anointed honey’ my womb opened and I am now pregnant. I will take this anointed soil and use it at my home, I take this soil as a blessing to my life,” said one woman.
Prophet Chikomo told the congregants that soil was key to their lives.
“To some people the soil is used for evil covenants and witches also use the soil to target human progress. Today, I declare this soil will change lives and it can be used to build houses, farming, self-development, churches and also end spiritual battle. Jesus said it clear in Luke 10:10 but into whatsoever city you enter and, but if a town refuses to welcome you, go out into the streets and shake off the dust.”
“When we were growing up, we were told a new baby is supposed to eat home soil. I’m sending spiritual messages as I visit places like Karoi, Chinhoi and Nyanga among other places as we want many people to receive breakthroughs after my visit. I see bumper harvest this year and people will get gold in volumes. I prophesy new dimensions, new level and elevation form above”

For Men Only: How to Last Longer in Bed

Having problems with lasting longer in bed? Here are seven things you can do if you wish to last longer and satisfy your partner in bed.

*Photo used for illustrative purpose*

The average man wants to last longer in bed — both for personal pleasure and also to make his woman climax.

However, experts say that such thoughts usually remain an unfulfilled dream for some men, such that the more they try to last longer in bed, the faster they finish.

Professor of s*x, Debby Herbenick, gives some tested and proved ways to help you last a little longer during sex!

1. Sensation. In general terms, this refers to the idea that you can regulate your own neurophysiology — or the way your body responds to physical sensations, a urologist, Dr. Thomas Walsh, says.

One of the most common ways to last longer in bed is to bring yourself right to the edge of orgasm before stopping all sexual or masturbatory activity until you have your excitement under control.

Practising this technique can teach your brain and body to better control your orgasm response, adds sex therapist, Dr. Emily Morse.

2. The squeeze. If you can feel your orgasm coming on, stop and squeeze right below the head of your penis. Apply firm pressure with your thumb and forefinger and focus the pressure on the urethra—the tube running along the underside of the penis, advises Ian Kerner, Ph.D., a sex therapist. The squeeze technique can help you last longer in bed by pushing blood out of the penis and momentarily decreasing sexual tension, which represses the ejaculatory response, Kerner says.

3. Ladies first. When you help her finish first—whether with your mouth, your fingers, or a toy—knowing she’s enjoyed an orgasm may relieve some of the pressure you’re feeling to last longer in bed, Kerner says.

4. De-sensitizers. There are topical sprays, called “local anesthetics,” that you can apply to your penis to lessen the sensation and keep control, Dr. Walsh says. “When used properly, you can adjust the amount of desensitization with these sprays, and it won’t transfer to your partner,” he adds. But be warned: The lack of sensation could make it difficult for you to stay erect, he says.

5. Condom control. Most major condom manufacturers make extra-thick rubbers that act like a slip-on desensitizer for your penis, Morse says, and these can help you last longer in bed. Look for marketing lingo like “extended pleasure” or “performax.”

6. Pills. Plenty of men swallow a pill to become erect. Such drugs genuinely help men with premature ejaculation. Check with your pharmacist, Dr. Walsh explains. Warning, though: the drugs shouldn’t be used unless your performance problem is seriously affecting your life, Dr. Walsh says. He advises talking to your doctor to discuss this option.

7. Ask an expert. If you feel like you’ve tried everything to have better sex without success, it may be time to discuss your problem with a sexual dysfunction specialist, Dr. Walsh says.

10 Best Romance Movies That Reflect the Harsh Reality of Relationships

There are certain romance movies that reflect the harsh realities of relationships among couples. These are some of those movies.

File photo

lot of people love romantic movies. They provide the ultimate escapism and feel-good factor when the forces of love triumphs. Most of the times, the reason why it has such an impact on us is because of the message it brings–a message of hope. Many can relate to sitting in front of a screen with loved ones–whether at home or in the cinema, and feeling teary eyed when that moment comes up which has the power to tug on heartstrings.
The best romantic movies do not just act as entertainment, but in fact, can actually teach us important lessons of life, love and relationships. Here are 10 romantic movies and what they taught us

1. Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

Life is sometimes difficult and we can feel like we are trapped in a situation where there is no escape. But the beauty is its unpredictability as well as the people who can come into our lives when we least expect it.
Be open to the unexpected happening. Even though you may be struggling with demons of your own, you never know who may wander into your life when you are least expecting it. Stop looking for love and let love find you.

2. One Day (2011)

This is one of those romantic movies that teaches us about the importance of friendship in a relationship. Your significant other should also be your friend. And like any good friend, they should know all your good and bad points but still love you any way.
Even if you do not end up dating your best friend, be with someone who will ultimately be one of your closest companions and someone you can rely on–no matter what.

3. Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001)

Love sometimes catches us off-guard and we fall in love with the person we may least expect.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. There are sometimes connections we have with people that we may never have envisioned. Physical chemistry is important, but it is even more important that they can connect with you on other levels.

4. What’s Your Number? (2011)

Stop focusing on the past. There is a reason why people didn’t make to your present. If you are single (and single for a while) you may feel nostalgic and wonder “what if” about failed relationships. But remember, if those relationships were right, they would have worked out. So the fact is, one of you was a wrong match for the other person.
Open yourself to welcoming new people and opportunities into your life.

5. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

Don’t change who you are. If the person is right for you, they will appreciate all those things that make you different–even the things that make you uncool to everyone else.
The right one will love you just the way you are–and they will love you even more for your flaws and quirky bits.

6. He’s Just Not That Into You (2009)

Don’t wait around for someone who doesn’t behave like they want to be with you. If you find yourself always making excuses or justifying someone’s absence or lack of attention, the reality is that they are probably just not that into you. It may hurt to accept this, but taking the first step to recognizing this will be the first step to breaking free from that hurt.
Don’t allow yourself to be nothing more than an option for someone who doesn’t see you as a priority.

7. Love Actually (2003)

This is one of those romantic movies that follows the lives of a few people.

We are reminded that everyone has the same chance of finding love–it doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from or what your circumstances may be. It’s all about being in the right place and the right time. Everyone deserves love and everyone has the possibility to find it.

8. Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)

If someone is more interested in the other person’s status or money, it’s not real love. This has sadly become far too common with many people more in pursuit of what they can gain from a partner, as opposed to how that person makes them feel.
If someone truly loves you for you, the size of your bank balance, who you know or the material things they can benefit from being with you, will not matter.

9. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

There is sometimes no greater pain than a heartbreak, and to some people, it may feel impossible to find a way out of that anguish.
Don’t force healing or deny yourself the grieving process. It is important to you give yourself the time that you need. Don’t try to find quick solutions such as partying or finding someone else immediately, as ultimately, these are just misguided ways to numb the pain. Pushing yourself too hard to get over someone often makes things worse. It should not be rushed–take as long as you need.

10. The Notebook (2004)

True love never forgets and will stand the test of time. And no matter what, it will keep fighting and being loyal till the end, irrespective of the circumstances. There are no obstacles that are too big or small when it comes to real love.

Meet Ghanaian Father Who Has 100 Children with 12 Wives

As the entire world mark the World Population Day, one man in Ghana has 100 reasons to mark his particular contribution as he makes new revelations on his life.

Tuesday, July 11, was World Population Day, and one man in Ghana, 80-year-old Kofi Asilenu, who is the father of 100 children by 12 wives, has reasons to mark his particular contribution.
Kofi lives with his family in a village called Amankrom, a 45-minute drive from the capital Accra. His family make up a third of the 600 people in the village.
While speaking exclusively to a BBC Africa correspondent, he said that he wanted a big family because he did not have siblings:

"I don’t have any brother or uncle, that’s why I decided to have many children so that they can give me a befitting burial when I die. In my home town if you give birth to one child they will say you are important so I want to have many children."
His big family has, however, come at a cost. He says that he was well off financially, but his resources have mostly been drained due to the cost of raising such a large brood, even though he says now he gets financial help from his children.
Kofi Asilenu looks physically strong and even says he is willing to have more children - despite having mistakenly proposed to one of his daughters three years ago.
The embarrassing incident meant he was forced to apologise to her, explaining that he had an eye problem so he could not recognise her.

As for his wives, they are all happy with the set up.
First wife Nayome Asilenu told the BBC: "When I married my husband and he decided to marry more women, I didn’t have any option. He’s able to take care of us, pay the children’s school fees. They are healthy and strong so there’s nothing wrong with that."

Polygamy was preferred in Ghana, to have many children was seen as a symbol of wealth. However, things have changed with women having more control on deciding how many children they can have and also birth control measures have been promoted nationwide.

July 12 (UPI) -- Former rivals John Cena and newly crowned United States Champion AJ Styles teamed up on Smackdown Live Tuesday to take on the likes of Kevin Owens and Rusev.
The main event of the night came about after Styles opened the show by starting up a United States Championship open challenge.
Cena answered the call, but before a match could begin, former United States Championship holder Owens entered the arena and distracted the pair in order for Rusev to enter the ring. A brawl ensued with Owens and Rusev gaining an advantage by using the Pop-Up Powerbomb and The Accolade.
The Tag Team Match ended differently, however, as Styles landed a Pele Kick onto Owens who was then drilled with an Attitude Adjustment by Cena for the victory.
Styles earned the United States Championship in surprising fashion on Friday during a non-televised WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
In the women's division, Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon announced that Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Tamina and Lana will meet at Battleground on July 23 in a Five-Way Elimination Match to determine the No. 1 contender for Naomi's Smackdown Women's Championship.
Flair and Lynch later faced off against Tamina and Natalya in a Tag Team Match that was spoiled by Lana. The Ravishing Russian distracted Flair in order for Tamina to nail The Queen with a devastating kick for the three count.
Also on Smackdown Live, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defeated Tye Dillinger; Xavier Woods defeated Jey Uso; Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin were involved in a raucous brawl; and Sami Zayn was assaulted by lovers Maria and Mike Kanellis.

CAN 2019: Algeria Submits Candidature to Replace Cameroon

Indicators are rife at that could lose the opportunity to host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations because of the delay in infrastructure work. This is so because reports say Algeria just submitted its candidature and this may oblige the Confederation of African Football (CAF) give the privilege to Algeria given the available infrastructure. "We are following up for a possible relocation with kind interest but until the contrary is proven, "said FAF President Kheïreddine Zetchi during a briefing held at the Sidi Moussa National Technical Center.”I mentioned Algeria's interest in hosting the next CAN in an interview I had discussed it with the new CAF President Ahmad Ahmad on the sidelines of the recent 67th Congress of FIFA in Bahrain. The discussion was fruitful. I found him motivated to bring a new blood to African football as his predecessor (Issa Hayatou)” concluded the new boss of Algerian football.

In a tweet, Patrick Mboma decries the sluggishness in infrastructure development. He is quoted to have added that he started raising this alarm 2 years ago and that something should be done to rescue Cameroon from humiliation.
