Why We Arrested Buhari's Friend - EFCC Speaks

The anti-graft agency, EFCC has responded to wide media claims of the arrest of a close associate of the president implicated in the ongoing arms deal probe.
Jafaru Isa

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has explained why it arrested Jafaru Isa, a close associate of President Muhammadu Buhari.  According to Premium Times, Isa, a retired brigadier general, was invited last week to appear before the commission on Wednesday (yesterday) to clear the air on “some questionable receipts” from the former NSA.
Rather than honouring the invitation, sources said, Mr. Isa wrote a letter to the EFCC through his lawyer, seeking a postponement of his appearance date on the grounds of death of a relative.
A top EFCC who spoke to newsmen said Isa had to be arrested because, ''He has been wasting our time, and we just have to pick him up for our investigation to continue''.

Head of State’s speech in response to presentation of the 2016 New Year wishes by the Diplomatic corps

President Paul Biya
The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps,
Members of the Diplomatic Corps,
It is always with much pleasure that I welcome you at the start of the year on the occasion of the solemn ceremony of presentation of New Year wishes. It is a great moment of communion.
I would like, The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, to thank you sincerely for your encouragement and your kind words about Cameroon, your host country. I am pleased to receive your wishes for my country, my family and myself.
The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps,
The year that has just ended was marked by the exacerbation of terrorism and the slowdown of global growth.
A shady jihadist group that originated in the Middle East is spreading. Its adverse effects have extended to other regions, especially to Africa and Europe.
The atrocities committed by the Islamic State, notably in Syria and Iraq, have caused great chaos in that part of the world.
In a bid to stem the chaos, an international coalition is carrying out air strikes designed to neutralize the Islamic State.
Cameroon supports all initiatives aimed at finding a lasting solution to this situation. For any compromise to be viable, it must take into account the legitimate political and economic interests of all the parties concerned.
These persistent tensions in Syria and Iraq are compounding the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In Libya, the return to normalcy is still awaited. Our wish is for a National Unity Government that would accelerate its advent.
In the Sahel region, the jihadists remain active in Mali. The recent Bamako attacks serve as a reminder to us.
Our country, as you all can see, has been forced into a war against the Boko Haram sect for nearly two years now.
This shady terrorist sect, which claims to have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in West Africa, has brought death and desolation around Lake Chad.
Cameroon has fiercely resisted this attempt at destabilization and violation of its territorial integrity.
Our Army, supported by the entire population, has not surrendered a single centimetre of our territory to the aggressors.
Better still, it has, on many occasions inflicted severe military setbacks on them with their bases destroyed, equipment and material seized, hostages freed, prisoners taken and so on.
I would like to take this opportunity to solemnly thank those friendly countries which, through their support, have demonstrated their solidarity in this fight.
Having been routed on the war front, the Boko Haram terrorist group seems, for the time being, to have resigned itself to the hideous tactics of suicide attacks.
Cameroon welcomes the fact that the Multinational Joint Task Force is now operational and active on the ground.
Well beyond the Middle East and Africa, the deadly activities of jihadist terrorists reached Europe in 2015, taking numerous lives.
This development vindicates those who, from the very start, have been advocating for a global response to the said phenomenon, and this was rightly recalled earlier by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.
Terrorism can be defeated only through joint and resolute action by the international community. We need to pool our intelligence resources and our combat efforts.
In this fight, I believe it is also important to find suitable remedies to inequities and poverty which provide breeding ground for terrorism.
The United Nations and the international community should address them as a priority.
Another fall-out of the unstable situation in the Middle East is the displacement of hundreds of thousands of refugees.
Such migration of an unprecedented scale in modern history, places the European Union in a dilemma: stick to its humanistic ideals and host the migrants, or keep them on its periphery, or even send them back home.
On this issue of migrants, a distinction has recently emerged between war refugees from the Near East and the so-called economic migrants.
The former would be welcomed, while the latter would be held on the EU periphery, waiting to be sent back to their countries of origin.
Solutions to this difficult issue must be consistent with morality and human values.
In this regard, only human solidarity can provide reasonable solutions.
In Africa as well, conflicts and terrorist atrocities are causing large-scale migration. Cameroon, for instance, has been forced to host thousands of refugees mainly from the Central African Republic and Nigeria.
Faced with such an influx of helpless people, the only solution is human solidarity. We share the little you have, and we appeal for assistance. The essential thing is to fulfil our duty to mankind.
Distinguished Members of the Diplomatic Corps,
Security is rightfully an existential prerequisite for all peoples. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that only development, which is the new name for peace, can guarantee the survival of nations.
Today’s world has trouble fulfilling the required conditions for such inclusive development.
The world economy is marked by a significant slowdown of global growth.
There is a resultant decline in the economic performance of emerging countries and an abrupt end to a decade of good performances in developing countries.
African economies in particular have been weakened by their heavy dependence on global commodity markets.
Conversely, growth in developed countries is witnessing a slight increase.
This shift in zones of growth is due to the drastic fall in commodity prices, particularly oil, but also all other commodities.
To stay afloat, many developing countries, including Cameroon, have opted for economic diversification. Even then, victory is far from certain.
In fact, global economic and financial prospects point to the fact that the current deterioration in the terms of trade will continue.
A greater cause for concern is the progressive tightening of conditions for accessing international financing.
Under such circumstances, it is only through genuine international economic solidarity that any policy of economic diversification could succeed.
This applies to the economy and to other major topical global issues. International economic solidarity should hinge on two key pillars, namely shared prosperity and responsibility.
With these principles, we can combat the globalization of indifference and build genuine world peace and brotherhood.
It was on the strength of such solidarity, and the awareness that we have a common destiny, that we travelled to Paris to attend the 21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change.
International solidarity was strongly expressed here. The 195 participating countries undertook to curb global warming.
During COP21, Cameroon made a dual appeal to save Lake Chad and to preserve the Congo Basin. Mr Dean, we thank you for echoing this on behalf of members of the Diplomatic Corps.
At COP21, Cameroon committed itself to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 32%.
Hence, we will review some aspects of our development plan.
Such review requires substantial funding and the transfer of major technologies. This is another area for the expression of the new spirit of solidarity.
In this regard, we want to hail the promise made in Paris by industrialized countries.  They did renew their undertaking to provide developing countries USD 100 billion yearly.
This represents a milestone in resolving a problem that threatens the survival of mankind.
The United Nations crystallizes the ambition of peoples to build together lasting peace based on shared prosperity, effective solidarity, and respect for human values.
Such is the meaning of both the new commitment to peace and the new sustainable development agenda adopted in New York in September 2015 during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations.
The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps,
Distinguished Members of the Diplomatic Corps,
I would be obliged if you would convey my wishes to the distinguished authorities that you so worthily represent here.
I also extend to you, your aides and your families, my most sincere wishes for happiness, health and success in 2016.
Long live international cooperation!
Long live Cameroon!
Thank you for your kind attention.

Fight Against Boko Haram: US Donates Sophisticated Vehicles to Nigerian Army

24 mine-resistant vehicles
24 mine-resistant vehicles
The United States on Thursday donated 24 mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles to Nigeria’s military, to enable the country’s soldiers to combat Boko Haram Islamic insurgents who continued cutting a bloody path through northeast Nigeria.
About 30 people were killed between Monday and Wednesday in Borno state, as Boko Haram gunmen wearing soldiers’ uniforms and female suicide bombers unleashed separate attacks on Izghe, a village 123 kilometers (76 miles) southwest of Maiduguri, the state capital, witnesses said.
Buba Ummate, a survivor, said: “They came in military uniforms and … just started firing there. At least 18 people were killed in that Monday attack, he said.
Ummate said the following day, three female suicide bombers sneaked into Izghe and detonated bombs hidden under their garments, killing seven other people and destroying three houses. A male suicide bomber also blew himself up, killing himself and four other people, said Yusuf DanIzge, who learned of the attack from relatives who live in the community.
A statement from the US Consulate in Lagos said the MRAP vehicles, valued at $11 million, were being handed over on Thursday to assist the West African country with both technical and military hardware to enable it to combat the rising challenges of regional extremism.
Temitayo Famutimi of the US Department of State said: “The equipment donation represents part of the continuing US commitment to Nigeria and its neighbors to counter Boko Haram’s senseless acts of terror and promote regional security.”
The United States also provides advisers, intelligence, training and logistical support to Nigerian military fighting Boko Haram as well as humanitarian aid and victim support services to some of the 2.5 million people driven from their homes by the insurgency.

9 Cancer Symptoms That You Should Never Ever Ignore (Must Read)

Many people like to take their bodies for granted. Even though they notice certain signs of abnormality, they usually refuse to do anything about it. This piece examines certain signs of abnormality in your body that you should not ignore.

While some symptoms of cancer can be rather obvious and deeply concerning, other symptoms can be much less noticeable and alarming. Listed in this article are nine cancer symptoms that people often ignore.

1. Chronic Fatigue
Although general fatigue is commonly associated with the daily grind of life, extreme fatigue that doesn’t seem to go away can potentially be a cause for great concern.
According to the American Cancer Society, chronic fatigue, or fatigue that can’t be remedied by sleep, can be a sign of leukemia, colon cancer, or cancer of the stomach. It is worth noting, as a means to avoid fear-mongering, that chronic fatigue or any issue documented in this list is merely a possible symptom of cancer, not a formal diagnosis.

2. Unexplained Weight Loss
Similar to chronic fatigue, unexplained weight loss can be a serious yet often ignored symptom of cancer.
If you lead a rather active lifestyle, the concept of losing weight without the means of a drastic diet plan probably won’t resonate with you in terms of a legitimate concern. However, that line of thinking can often play a major role as to why this particular symptom has the distinction of being ignored.
If you’re losing weight, even though you’ve maintained your daily living routine, you could be in the early stages of any number of cancers. Esophageal, lung, pancreatic, and stomach cancers often include symptoms of unexplained weight loss. (Source: American Cancer Society)

3. Pain
While pain can occur due to a variety of reasons, many of which are not serious, long-lasting pain and/or pain that doesn’t go away with the help of basic medication(s) can be a symptom of cancer.
Per the American Cancer Society, sustained back pain can be a sign of colon or ovarian cancer, while a lengthy headache that produces pain for several days without relief can be a sign of brain cancer. Additionally, bone and testicular cancer can often produce aching or sharp pains in the early stages of development.
Pay attention to your body and never dismiss pain that seems to last for days or weeks at a time.

4. Lumps Under The Skin
While lumps under the skin are often associated with breast or testicular cancer, lumps can occur in virtually any soft tissue area of the body regardless of gender.
If you detect the presence of a lump or mass under your skin, your best plan of action is to take action. Discovering a mass in its earliest stage could very well be the key to your physical well-being in the long term.
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center suggests that you consult your doctor as soon as possible once you discover a problem of this nature. It is important to be naturally self-conscious of your body as a way to detect unusual physical changes.

5. Swollen Foot
In respect to common cancer symptoms ignored by women, the presence of a swollen foot or leg could potentially be a cause for concern.
According to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, swelling in these areas, while accompanied with pain and/or vaginal discharge, could be a sign of cervical cancer.
While a swollen leg has a marginal return in respect to a serious medical condition, it is important to pay attention to your symptoms and never dismiss them, especially if they’re accompanied by other ailments such as discharge or pain.

6. White Patches In Mouth
Even though this particular ignored symptom of cancer is more notable in men than women, the condition known as leukoplakia is all-encompassing in respect to gender. Frequently associated with all forms of tobacco use according to both the American Cancer Society as well as the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, leukoplakia is a precancerous condition that is marked by various white patches within the mouth and gums.
Although mouth sores and ulcers are often ignored and dismissed as nothing more than routine irritations, if you’re a regular user of tobacco you need to be mindful of any changes that take place within your mouth.
As noted above, leukoplakia can impact both men and women through smoking, but the condition is found more often in men who abuse cigarettes as well as smokeless tobacco.

7. Changes On Skin Surface
While skin cancer is unfortunately quite common in our society, the symptoms of skin cancer are all too often ignored.
Brushed aside as a common sunburn or darkened mole, for example, many people dismiss skin cancer symptoms while under the assumption the changes are simply due to natural sun exposure or the unfortunate, yet common, part of the aging process.
In truth, any freckle, mole, or wart that changes its shape or color should garner your full attention. Changes in your skin that are accompanied by excessive itching need to be strongly recognized as well. Various types of skin cancer, including melanoma, can be the cause of these symptoms.
The primary cause of melanoma is sun exposure. In terms of combative efforts, if a patch of skin has changed or a common mole has dramatically shifted in color and size, you’re advised to consult your doctor. (Source: American Cancer Society)

8. Changes In Bowel Habits
Have you noticed changes in your restroom habits in respect to urination and/or bowel movements? If you’ve found the need to urinate more frequently or less often than before, you could be experiencing an early sign of bladder or prostate cancer.
Per the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, blood in your urine or stool could also be a symptom of a serious medical condition.
Changes in bowel habits, such as the aforementioned bloody stool or frequent diarrhea can be a sign of colorectal issues.

9. Prolonged Fever
Although a slight fever can often be ignored and attributed to various minor health issues such as the common cold, a prolonged fever can serve as the warning sign for a potential life-threatening condition.
Many times cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma can impact the immune system in such an aggressive fashion the body attempts to fight off the infection to the point of fever.
The American Cancer Society encourages you to never gloss over a fever that is long-lasting and fails to go away with common remedies.

Meet the Richest Man in All History, Mansa Musa I of Mali (full list of the ‘26 richest people of all time included)

Mansa Musa I of Mali, Ruler of Malian Empire is the acclaimed richest man in all history with a net worth $400 billion. Unbelievable!!
Mansa Musa I of Mali
When we think of the world’s all-time richest people, names like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and John D Rockefeller immediately come to mind. But few would have thought, or even heard of, Mansa Musa I of Mali – the obscure 14th century African king who was today named the richest person in all history.
With an inflation adjusted fortune of $400 billion, Mansa Musa I would have been considerably richer than the world’s current richest man, Carlos Slim, who ranks in 22nd place with a relatively paltry $68 billion. The list, compiled by the Celebrity Net Worth website, ranks the world’s 24 richest people of all time. The list advertises itself as the top 25, but 26 names appear in the list.
Although the list spans 1000 years, some aspects of wealth appear consistent throughout history; there are no women on the list, only three members are alive today, and 14 of the top 25 are American. The list uses the annual 2199.6 per cent rate of inflation to adjust historic fortunes – a formula that means $100 million in 1913 would be equal to £2.299.63 billion today.

Pictorial depiction covering the area Mansa dominated
Mansa Musa I ruled West Africa’s Malian Empire in the early 1300s, making his fortune by exploiting his country’s salt and gold production. Many mosques he built as a young man still stand today. After Mansa Musa I death in 1331, however, his heirs were unable to hang on to the fortune, and it was substantially depleted by civil wars and invading armies.
Second on the list are the Rothschild family, whose descendants are still among the richest people on the planet. Starting out in banking in the late 18th Century, Mayer Amschel Rothschild’s finance house accumulated a total wealth of $350 billion. The money has since been divided between hundreds of descendants, many of whom are business leaders today.
Meanwhile John D. Rockefeller, third on the list, is the richest American to have ever lived, worth $340billion in today's USD at the time of his death in 1937. In comparison, the poorest man on the list is 82-year-old Warren Buffett, who at his peak net worth, before he started giving his fortune to charity, was $64billion.
Here’s the full list of the ‘26 richest people of all time’:

1. Mansa Musa I, (Ruler of Malian Empire, 1280-1331) $400 billion

2. Rothschild Family (banking dynasty, 1740- ) $350 billion

Traits That Make Pretty Women Unmarriageable (Must Read

Some girls have it all - money, good looks, well endowed etc. But, many have found it very hard to settle down with a man. Here are the reasons why and what you must avoid.
Have you heard women complain about the ‘fact’ that there are no serious men to marry these days? According to these women, who are often in the mid-twenties, men just want to date-not to settle down. Mark Maina opens up on why most women have found it difficult to settle down with a man.
He said what these ladies fail to understand is that guys are very particular when it comes to choosing someone for a serious relationship that could possibly lead to marriage.
A woman can be beautiful, funny, intelligent and ambitious, but all these good virtues can be nullified by one or two negative traits. The following is a list of the 7 least desirable traits in a lady:

1) The ‘Socialite mentality’
The ‘socialite mentality’ is a disease that seems to have afflicted most 20-something year old ladies. Signs of this malady are manifested by sudden realization that one is the ‘hottest’ in the continent hence the need to divert the world’s attention from the lost Malaysian plane to them.
The infected wear skimpy clothes, and capture their ‘amazing’ outfits on a cheap android phone and proceed to post these pictures on Instagram.
If you want to capture the attention and earn the respect of the 7 billion people on earth go the Lupita Nyon’go’s way. Explore your talents, develop your ideas and work relentlessly until you break a record. Then only the men leading equally successful lives will have the guts to ask you out.

2) Anti-family
Any responsible man holds his family with highest regard. He will go out of his way to create time for his parents and take very good care of them at all cost. Before considering a lady for a serious relationship, a man will first try to ascertain her view towards family.
If she disrespects her parents, lives oblivious of her siblings welfare and dislikes kids then she is considered anti-family. In the guy’s mind the lady will make a poor wife, starve his aging parents and probably chase away his siblings whenever they visit.
There is also a crop of ladies who are so close to their fathers/mothers yet raise ruckus whenever the guy wants to spend some quality time with his family, especially his mother. Trying to compete with a guy’s mother for his attention, especially before he slips the ring into your finger, is a lost cause.

3) Ultra-religious behaviour
It’s every man’s wish to get a wife with strong religious beliefs so that his kids can grow up with some sense of morality. However, there is a clear line between being a staunch believer and a fanatic.
It raises red flags when the lady quotes her pastor more than the good book and uses his/her words to justify her actions. It’s quite annoying for a girl to go for prayer meetings every weekday, ‘Keshas’ on Saturday’s and hardly spare anytime to hang out with you, her boyfriend.
The guy ends up feeling like a total stranger and worst of all if she insists on going to church without a bra and panties because the bishop said that’s what is inhibiting her blessings. Strike a balance between your love and spiritual life. Also, refrain from demonizing anyone who doesn’t subscribe to your beliefs but instead practice tolerance.

4) Lack of ambition
If you wish to have a guy consider you for a serious relationship, then you should at least get focused with your life. Get your priorities straight, have ambitions, work towards achieving your goals and take your studies or job seriously. If all your ‘future plans’ happen to be on where the next coolest party is then don’t expect any guy to take you seriously. All men subconsciously consider ladies who bear qualities close to their mothers as eligible candidates for serious relationships.
Practice moderation, striving to be responsible and industrious. Every man wants the assurance that the lady he is getting hitched to is hardworking so that incase he passes on, his children will never sleep hungry.

5) Extreme materialism
Since the days of the cave men, women only mate with those who can provide and protect their families. However, it’s totally wrong to stick with a guy just because he can afford to sustain your expensive lifestyle only to disappear when their cash flow recedes.

It’s easy to spot a gold-digger. All she wants to do is hang out in fancy places, shop in high-end boutiques and attend exclusive parties. When you are together, you never get to have any meaningful conversations or share intimate details about your lives.
Once a guy realizes you are just there for his possessions, he re-strategizes. You become his trophy girlfriend. He may buy you a nice car and a house but will have them both under his name. In the event you go separate ways, he will send goons to repossess the car and throw you out of the cool crib.

6) False sense of importance
Such a lady has a bloated ego and false sense of importance. She acts like she is doing the guy a favor by being with him. He is, therefore, expected to be so grateful that he worships her and the ground she walks on.
It’s rather draining to date a lady who is convinced you were sorely created to serve her. She will expect you to drop all your plans and run to her side whenever she wants. Since she believes that she can get any man on the planet, whenever you fight she is inclined to issue ultimatums.
This kind of lady snobs the people she considers to have poor tastes ranging from fashion, music all the way to cuisines. For such a lady, a long term relationship is out of question. A guy who wants to settle down would rather go for someone who is humble. She should be able to associate well with everyone from the house help to the obnoxious friend.

7) Selfishness
Sometime back, a girl I really liked invited me over to her place at around 7pm. I immediately rushed there and found her preparing dinner. I’m not passionate about cooking, but you know how women can inspire a guy to do things they wouldn’t on a normal day. So I helped with the preparations and the meal was ready within an hour.
I found it odd that she only served one plate then I thought maybe she wanted us to share. To my surprise, she went curled up on the couch opposite me and ate everything on her plate.
She even had a second serving (clearing the pot in the process) before asking “Dear, did you take supper before coming over?” The funniest thing is that all the time I spent there with her she kept hinting how we would make a great couple and probably marry after college. Just be honest, would you seriously consider getting hitched to a lady who has the audacity to take two plates full of food without offering you a single bite?

We Have Used All Channels to Warn Nigeria Over Shiite Leader - Iran

Iran has spoken on the arrest and detention of Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky by security operatives in Nigeria over their fracas with the Nigerian army in Zaria, Kaduna.
Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky

Iran says it is using all diplomatic channels to pursue the release of a prominent Shia Muslim cleric Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky who was arrested by the Nigerian army last month.
“We have used all those channels to warn them [Nigeria] regarding this issue. So hopefully the government… would adopt wise action given the sensitive situation,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hoseyn Jaberi-Ansari told reporters in the capital, Tehran.
Sheikh al-Zakzaky after members of his Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) clashed with the army in the northern city of Zaria.
Campaign group Human Rights Watch said at least 300 IMN members were killed and quickly buried in a mass graves during the incident.
The Nigerian military denied the claim.
The military accuses the pro-Iranian sect of trying to assassinate army chief Gen Tukur Buratai, which it denies.
Iran is currently embroiled in a diplomatic row with Saudi Arabia over the execution of a prominent Shia cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.

END OF YEAR MESSAGE: TATAH EMMANUEL BANTAR Addresses Wimbum Youths

Dear youths of Mbum land
Fellow brothers and sisters of our Motherland

Never again shall we allow futureless people play on our bright future. Never again!
Never again shall we allow ourselves to be swindled that "we the youths of today, are the leaders of tomorrow". It is with this statement that we have been abridged to vagrants and hand-clappers at decision-making tables. We have allowed the old generation to continuously devastate our fatherland with their politics of hatred and personal enrichment at the expense of community development. Never again shall we allow this to happen beginning this 2016, because our tomorrow is today since our today was yesterday. We must rise up and take the challenge of reshaping our future and redefining our destiny. Never again should we sit back and watch retired and tired bullies continue to waste the resources of our beloved nation.
Never!
Never again shall we be used as “guinea pigs” on which Amateurs carry on their Administrative and Leadership training; a training that even lacks theoretical back-up. For years we have seen people who have never been class prefects, students’ leaders or even family heads, talkless of leaders of organisations or institutions, riding as Members of Parliaments, Mayors, Senators and even Presidential candidates. While enthusiastic philosopher kings are pushed to the backyard. On these bases, they have often been elected through their platforms to these key development pivot-positions. This way we find these amateurs running council budgets, on the bases of trial and error, year in – year out. Micro-project credit management from subjective standpoints instead of objective plans. With all of these, the masses continue to suffer from lack of minimum facility like portable water. Never again should they be given post of responsibilities to use us as ‘guinea pigs’ for their experimental leadership. Never again should we allow them to come back as they have always wanted to try again.
Never again!
Never!
Never again, shall we give room to mediocre fellows to run the budgets of our municipalities when we know that they have never initiated and/or run a budget of up to a million in their entire lives. We observe, with a lot of dissatisfaction, how people who have never initiated or executed even a single community oriented project get confused when confronted with a council budget worth hundreds of millions with hundreds of projects. These fellows enjoy a 100% execution rate on project with budgetary line/head like fuel allowances, maintenance allowance, office furniture etc.
The keep creating dust basin here and there in the name of grading roads. Never again shall we allow this old generation to go on retarding development in our community.
Never again!
Never!
Never again shall we trade competence and productivity for party-line politics, tribal or clannish linage. Overtime, we have seen competent, experienced and productive candidate drop or voted out of pivot roles in our community because of irrelevant and development unfriendly concept like party-lines politics and/or clannish linage. Geo-political strategies shall only flow competence and productivity and not the other way round. We have also seen some for reasons of religions affiliation, friendship line, age group and even ego centric tendencies. The youths in particular and the entire population in general should not allow these ills to impede us from putting square pegs in square holes. We will not be trick or threaten to close our eyes on objectivity. Therefore any party or platform which wishes to lobby and enjoy the support of the youths should put forward young, competent, objective, capable and productive candidates. I hope and believe that this is the key step to achieve development in mbumland as resources are being decentralised. Never again shall we be made to believe others. We shall make our own decision ourselves. Never again shall investiture and/or approval of candidates make a candidate more viable than he/she originally would be.
Never Again!
Never!
Never again shall the youths sit and do nothing but complain about the government, politicians and the clergy. Some youths have been observed to be idling and continuously complain about the government or the politicians while traders come from neighbouring Kumbo, Bamenda and even Mbuda to do all the businesses in Ndu and Nkambe. The youths should get up, not only politically but also economically. They will have to form cooperatives, farming groups and common initiative groups to create and run commercial and agro-business enterprises. They shall sit up and refrain from too much and senseless drinking of beer and related irrelevant and arrogant life styles. The youths will have to change their mentality and re-oriented their mind sets. We say taxes are too high, bla bla bla, and the business environment is not conducive enough but those who pay transport to come, rent houses to stay and even pay resident permits still do business in our locality successfully. We must work hard to gain financial independence which will sanction political independence. Never again shall we be bought over because we sit complaining, doing nothing and are poor.
Never again!
Never!
Never again shall we be made to place theory over practical. In, as much as, practical goes with theory, we shall privilege practical examples illustrated by candidates who may lack theoretical knowledge to candidates with adequate theoretical knowledge without a single practical example.
In this light, a candidate for, say presidential election, proposing to solve a 4-million unemployment problem shall show prove of creating employment by personal initiative for at least 0.1%, (4000) youths of the four millions. Never again should we be made to think that a fellow, who can not create jobs for 10 persons in mbum land or of Mbum origin, will solve the community problems of Ndu or Nkambe municipality if made municipal authority with even 100% decentralization.
Never again!
Never!
Never again shall we fold our arms and sit waiting for change to come. Youths, beginning 2016, must come home from Yaoundé, Douala, Buea, Bamenda and all of the country and of course from the Diaspora to register in the electoral list of Ndu or Nkambe constituencies. In a bit to effect change in 2018, the youths must first have their change-weapons which are the voter's cards. Never again shall we think that change shall come through social media popularity and propaganda. Effective work and realistic activities must be done on the ground. Never again shall we believe the internet development ideologists who have lived for 40yrs and above in the U.S.A, Canada, and Europe without a real project or even knowledge of the present day Mbum land.
Never Again!
Never!
Never again shall we pursue doubtful educational path, preferring to be grade one teachers if not pastors. Youths shall pursue vocational, technical and professional education and training to be job creators as well. Never again shall we learn only subjects like history at first degree and return to write minutes in shaa and palm wine oriented njangi houses. Never again shall we choose career path which are not commensurate to our mental and material resources. Never again shall we think that we should attend very expensive secondary schools meanwhile we will not be able to continue after A/Ls due to limited finances.
Never again!
Never!
Never again shall we be made to false fully believe that separation of the country in itself is a panacea for youths’ unemployment and poverty. We must first, acknowledge the reality that, whether in the republic of Cameroon, in the united republic, a federal republic, in west or East Cameroon, we shall only survive from our hard work. We, therefore, shall privileged peace, love and objectivity while seeking to acquire skills that will provide for our needs and community development. We shall understand that whether in the East, west or united republic, those who are holders of say 2 papers in GCE A/L in Philosophy and Religions Studies/History and finally procure a B.A in philosophy or history can not suddenly become civil engineers, medical doctors, lawyers, petro-chemical engineers, tele-communication experts or accountant because we have seceded. Never again shall we be used as sacrificial lamps.
Never again!
Dear compatriots
Ladies and gentlemen
Never again shall we allow ourselves to be swindled that we, the youths of today, are the leaders of tomorrow. Never again
Never again shall we be used as “guinea pigs” on which Amateurs carry on their Administrative and Leadership training; a training that even lacks theoretical back-up Never again!
Never again, shall we give room to mediocre fellows to run the budgets of our municipalities when we know that they have never initiated and/or run a budget of up to a million in their entire lives. Never again!
Never again shall we trade competence and productivity for party-line polities, tribal or clannish linage. Never again!
Never again shall the youths sit and do nothing but complain about the government, politicians and the clergy. Never again!
Never again shall we fold our arms and sit waiting for change to come. Wimbum youths, beginning 2016, must come home form all of the country and of course from the Diaspora to register in the electoral list of their constituencies. Never again!
Never again shall we pursue doubtful educational path, preferring to be grade one teachers if not pastors. Never again!
Never again shall we be made to false fully believe that separation of the country in itself is a panacea for youths’ unemployment and poverty. Never again!
While hoping for responsible resolutions amongst us the youths, I wish you and your love ones a Joyous And Prosperous New Year 2016.

Long live wimbum Youths
Long live the wimbum people
Long live the Republic of Cameroon.

Why I Called Nigeria a Zoo - Radio Biafra Boss, Nnamdi Kanu

Radio Biafra director, Nnamdi Kanu who is charged with treason and other related offences on account of his agitation for the secession of the South-East to form a sovereign state of Biafra has revealed shocking details in explosive interview.

In an interview with online news platform, SaharaReporters, the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and founder of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, described Nigeria as a zoo and accused Governor Rochas Okorocha of Islamizing Imo State.
He confirmed in the statement he made to the Department of State Services (DSS) after he was arrested at a Lagos hotel on October 14, 2015, that he made some comments calling Nigeria a zoo to justify his belief that the only language its people understood was violence.

On the aunthenticity of the interview which was played by officers of the DSS:
I acknowledged that it was me that gave the interview and the answers I provided were done by me. As I have earlier stated in past interrogation, the statements I make are purely designed to elicit reaction that will facilitate the desired change which is needed.

On refering Nigeria as a Zoo:
In the interview, I made reference and said, 'the zoo has come to an end, they keep killing our people.' In the interview, I also said 'the language the people hear in the zoo is violence. If they fail to give us Biafra, Somalia will be a child’s play', yes, I stated that in the interview. Again, I was asked (and I said), 'If they do not give us Biafra, there would be no one living in the zoo,' yes, I said so.

On Governor Rochas Okorocha Islamizing Imo State:
I was also asked did I say that Rochas had Islamized Imo State and I said yes. I was also asked to confirm that I said that I do not believe that a peaceful approach to the restoration of Biafra was viable because I am not aware of anywhere else in the world where that is the case considering the history of the countries and their approach to such issues.

On the rumours accusing him of belonging to Biafra Zionist Movement:
I do not belong to Biafra Zionist Movement. However, I stated my support for its action because it was a civil act designed to highlight societal injustice. The said act involved a group of civilians massing at the Government House at Enugu to hoist the Biafran flag.

The 48-year-old, who re-affirmed himself as the leader of IPOB, also gave an insight into the global leadership structure of the group.

"I wish to state for the records that I, Nnamdi Kanu, is the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra and is in charge of the running of the organization. In terms of the organizational structure, I can confirm that the office of the Director sits at the apex."

Kanu said under him was Mazi Udanna Asiegbu. "Under him (Asiegbu) is the office of the CoC, which translates into the Co-ordinator of Co-ordinators and under him comes the Continental Representatives and are as follows:

(1) North America is represented by Mr. Nnamaram Ugochukwu; South America, by Leornard Aniemene, who is resident in Trinidad and Tobago. Mazi Asiegbu is resident in Spain and Clifford Iroanya, the Coordinator of Coordinators, is resident in Houston Texas, USA.

Nnamaram Ugochukwu is resident in Dallas, Texas. The continent of Europe is represented by Mazi Edoziem in Switzerland; Asia continent is represented by Onyinyechi Nlebedim in Malaysia while Australia is represented by Austin Ofomah, who resides in Canberra, Australia."

CRP –Party Leader, FOLIGAR LANG's New Year Message

New Year speech 2016
CRP –Party Leader, FOLIGAR LANG

 Fellow Cameroonians
Dear Friends

The New Year of 2016 is about to begin.
This will be a year all Cameroonians sees the world and the world sees Cameroonians
Now, as we reflect on the outgoing year I would like to sincerely thank you for your unity and solidarity, for your innermost truthfulness, honour, justice and responsibility for the fate of your country, for your invariable readiness to struggle for Cameroon’s interests, to be with it both in days of triumph and in times of trial, and that you will continue to strive for the implementation of our bravest and grandest of plans for 2016 and up till the general elections.
We have seen how Biya’s new deal Government is going older without a beginning and without serving any purpose but have only sounded bells and alarms bringing about,
 Diseases
Corruption,
 Intimidation
Aggression and molestation
, not forgetting deprivation of liberty, human right abuses, division, tribalism, nepotism and favouritism. These we have seen had been LES GRANDES AMBITIONS new deal package for you.

It’s now crystal clear that Biya has failed this Nation for close to 34 years. We now live in a society of molestation and inequality. Joblessness has tripled and we still continue to witness mass evacuation of citizens who supposed to be behind the growth of this fruitful nation but are now fleeing from the nation and scattered worldwide in search of Good health happiness and freedom.

It’s a pity that a genuine and blessed Cameroon has been hijacked for 34 years and hitherto. 2015 has being one of the most valiant of these years in literature considering the fact that loopholes were left for terrorist organization to be apparent.
Terrorism in Cameroon has appeared due to lack of good governance. Our borders are not well secured, our security officials are geared towards presidential security and lucrative jurisdictions of eminent bribery instead of territorial security and integrity.

We have witnessed Boko haram intensifying its cross border aggression in our region; we deeply sympathized with families affected by the action of this evil group. We again call on all Cameroonians to be alert and be ready to work with patriotic security forces of law and order in order to stamp out these elements in our territory.
We wish that our army become aware that their duties are to protect the territory and integrity of the Republic not to particularize all their military might in the presidency.
As far as the CRP is concerned Boko Haram has no duelling place in any part of Cameroon and the world at large and the CPD M needs to understand that bad Governance attracts terrorism.

They have been a marked increase in death and infant mortality levels throughout the year, corrupt state agents are the major reason for the decay in our public sector. The so called new deal government has adopted and insisted on its damping idea of “No bribe no health policy”. With the acronyms “Zero Choko Zero soigné”. The Principal causes of high death were due to Road accidents and motorway robbery, Water born disease,  Parasitic malaria and dilapidation of medical facilities and no emergency system.
Fellow Cameroonians, Bear with me that the CPDM promises are unachievable therefore I pledge that in 2016 I will continue to work hardest on your  behalf and also on behalf of the un-opportune many and those in need trapped under the crushing jaws of the RDPC/CPDM regime.
What we will like to see in place in 2016 is an Independent Electoral Commission. We should not afford to be without it and I call on Cameroonians weather young or old, within or outside the country to join in for the struggle of a brand new Independent Electoral Body, we will have to use all means and any possible peaceful Media, be it Online or Offline nor Social or Interactive Media. We need an independent electoral body.
If you will permit me I will suggest an international conference be held in London. LE CAMEROUN 2016

In the conference this will be my first question to the President,
Mr. Biya, if you cannot deliver a workable, sustainable and fulfilling system from 1982 to 2015 is it in 2016 and upward that you are going to deliver?
Warning: Biya and his CPDM has no right to influence death and life in Cameroon

To the Prime Minister
Mr Yang Do you know that the public sector is decaying and that there have been more people in need during 2015 and may be more in 2016 than they were in the  1970s and 1980s?

To the CPDM/RDPC Regime
In Cameroon it’s the present that is getting worst than the past? True or False

The Lack of patriotism, No trust, Corruption and bad governance is seriously affecting our youths
Cameroon can be in a happy position but it’s not in a healthy position.
We find it a necessity to normalized the lives of Cameroonians from 2016 ONWARD

The world is changing and these changes challenge us all the time, sometimes quite fiercely. That is why we must constantly ask ourselves new questions, and I have established these.

What will the redistribution of power lead to?
Who will have enough food and water?
Where will we find raw materials in the future?
How can we alleviate human suffering and resolve conflicts?
The tragedy of  Boko Haram continues and there is distress in all over the country, yet we must not let ourselves become numb and merely observe the fact.

We want to see more youth participation in politics in 2016 for strong economies are built by the power of the youths. Let’s all try and understand  that Corrupt state agents is the major reason for the decay in our public sector in Cameroon and the nature of ignorance Greed, materialization and wealth amassment, Favouritism not forgetting Incompetent position holders due to friendly or tribal ties and compensations.
We now need to strive for a better WILL of the nation than the of the Government

The New Year is knocking at our doors, It is time to let it in and say words of kindness to our near and dear ones .It’s Time to thank them for their understanding and reliability for their Patience and care. The more kindness and love there is around the more confident and powerful we become, which means we will definitely be successful.

Happy 2016 to you!
May the People of Cameroon be eternal,
Long live The Cameroon Reformation Party
Foligar Lang”
