Why Beautiful Ladies Do Not Make Good Wives

Many men have been deceived by some women's beauty. This has made many people confirm an alleged assertion that many beautiful women make bad wives. Here is why that is so!

While growing up as a kid, my old guy often told me that whenever an old man offered a piece of advice, it was not because he disliked you, but rather because he may have experienced similar situations over and over again.
Those who listen to the advice often turn out well, but those who don’t, end up living in misery. Of course the losers, already on the downward spiral, will say: ‘let me live my life when I am young’.
Let us do a little math. What percentage of your youth is adult life? In my time it was 15-24 years, which is why the society expected a woman to get married by 24.
Bi Mswafari couldn’t have been more right when she said that it’s difficult for beautiful women to get married nowadays, because most of them think they’re God’s gift to the world.
Women with beautiful faces tend to believe that they can leave a man sitting in a restaurant, and get another before they even reach the door. True, this will happen, but are you sure the next man who takes you will marry you? The answer is usually no. In fact, you only gradually move from a wife material to a social trophy.
Trust me, just like the English Premier League trophy, different players will fight to use a woman.
Bi Mswafari shocked the women folk with her claim that when HIV/Aids first hit Kenya, it was the most beautiful women who died first.
The kawaida ones were spared. In Kenya, where wife inheritance was the norm in some communities, men died after inheriting widows.
Wise old men usually remind young lads of a saying that goes: ‘when choosing a wife, don’t go for a very beautiful woman as she will kill you with stress before your days’.
The belief is that internal beauty is what we should look for in a woman, but men say, albeit jokingly, that they don’t have X-ray machines with which to tell the inner glow.
Men have been advised to do background checks on a woman’s family and upbringing. This is particularly important because while beauty fades, character is permanent.
I saw a number of beautiful women growing up back in the day, and trust me, they never had character, and today they live in misery. Some of them tried to reform, much later in life, but age was not on their side.
Young women out there should know that beauty fades, and it’s not bad to be beautiful, but that is the gift God has given you.

Like any other gift, use it wisely. Remember, beauty is like a drug, it can harm you if you don’t control it.

Don’t let your beauty turn you into a laughing stock in old age.

Donald Trump Says 'No Amnesty to African Immigrants

Speaking in Phoenix on Wednesday, U.S presidential candidate, Donald Trump, vowed to deport millions of people in his first hour if he wins the presidential seat of the United States of America.

Donald Trump

The idea that Donald Trump is softening his immigration policy is not going to happen.
The Republican presidential nominee on Wednesday, re-upped the harsh immigration rhetoric that electrified his primary campaign, vowing "no amnesty" for undocumented migrants living in the United States and promising to build a "beautiful" and "impenetrable" border wall that Mexico would pay for - hours after that country's president vowed that it wouldn't.
"This election is our last chance to secure the border, stop illegal immigration, and reform our laws to make your life better," Trump said in Phoenix at the end of a dizzying day in which he made his first foray into international diplomacy with a visit to Mexico City, then baited a fired-up crowd with red-meat rhetoric.
“Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation. We will begin moving them out, day one. My first hour in office, those people are gone,” he said, adding that “There will be no amnesty.”
Still, adding to the uncertainty that has clouded his immigration plan in recent days, Trump did not give a definitive answer about what he would do with most of the 11 million undocumented people who are not criminals, leaving open the possibility they would have to continue to hide in the shadows.
But it was the tone of Trump's speech that was most notable. "This is it. We won't get another opportunity -- it will be too late," he said in a speech that recreated the vision of a dystopian, crime-riddled nation on the edge of an existential crisis that he deployed in his convention speech in Cleveland in July.
He vowed to create a "deportation task force" within the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division "focused on identifying and quickly removing the most dangerous criminal illegal aliens in America." He said he would boost the ranks of enforcement agents to enforce existing laws.
He vowed that any undocumented immigrants who are caught crossing into the US will be "detained until they are removed from our country" and sent back to their country of origin. And he promised to repeal President Barack Obama's executive orders shielding some younger undocumented people, including those born in the United States - so called Dreamers, from deportation.
Trump statement left the fate of most of the 11 million undocumented people who are not criminals in the country murky.
He did not commit to deporting every undocumented immigrant living in the US as he previously had, but vowed that immigrants living in the US illegally would never have a path to legal status under his presidency.
"For those here today illegally who are seeking legal status, they will have one route and only one route: to return home and apply for re-entry under the rules of the new legal immigration system."
But later, Trump said that once a new immigration system is in place, "we will be in a position to consider the appropriate disposition of those who remain."

The Original Abubakar Shekau is Dead - Nigerian Army Confirms

The Nigerian Military on Thursday, confirmed the death of Abubakar Shekau, the factional leader of Islamic terrorist group, Boko Haram.

Abubakar Shekau

Speaking in Adamawa state on Thursday, Lucky Irabor, theatre commander of 'Operation Lafiya Dole', said the leader of Boko Haram Islamic sect, Abubakar Shekau is dead, adding that the military had killed the individual originally identified as Shekau, as well as his impostor.
Irabor who disclosed that the deadly terrorist sect, Boko Haram is currently divided as a result of military operations, said;
“I can confirm to you that the original Shekau was killed, the second Shekau was killed, and the man presenting himself as Shekau, I can also confirm to you that few days ago, he was wounded. We are yet to confirm whether he is dead or not. They released videos to prove that they are still active, but that’s just a facade,” he said.
This is not the first time that the army would pronounce Shekau dead, recall that last week, Sani Usman, army spokesman, issued a statement saying Shekau was “fatally” injured in an air raid.
“In what one could describe as the most unprecedented and spectacular air raid, we have just confirmed that as a result of the interdiction efforts of the Nigerian air force, some key leaders of the Boko Haram terrorists have been killed while others were fatally wounded.
“Those confirmed dead include Abubakar Mubi, Malam Nuhu and Malam Hamman, amongst others, while their leader, the so-called ‘Abubakar Shekau’, is believed to be fatally wounded on his shoulders. Several other terrorists were also wounded,” Usman had said.

Back2School: CEPPAM Gives Reasons Why Professional Education is Pre-Hording Corridor to Emergence

The Director of Centre for the Promotion of Professional Education in Mbumland-CEPPEM, Tatah Emmanuel Bantar has written a letter to the living forces of Mbumland give priority to professional education as the Pre-Hording Corridor to Emergence in Mbumland. In his letter, Tatah Emmanuel Bantar recommended pertinent actions to guide students as school reopens on Monday for the 2016/2017 academic year.
In his letter, CEPPEM Director called on parents, teachers, vote holders, elites, traditional rulers, religions authorities’ political flag bearers, media men and women, the development associations etc to be reminded of the need to oriented and guide mbum youths another academic year kickstarts. “Please ensure that your children, your future leaders make the right choices. It is time for career coaching, guidance and academic orientation”. He emphasized that professional education, technical education, and vocational education is employment focused and job oriented. To Tatah Emmanuel, it is also a requisite for growth and progress, a conditions son qua non for poorly alleviation, the pre-ordained corridor to emergence in Mbum land and, above all, the surest way to make heaven.

Here below is the letter in its entirety:

Bamenda the 18th August 2016.
From:
The Director
To:
-          Mbum Youths and Parents
-          Honourable members of parliament Ndu Nkambe
-          Mayor Ndu council
-          Mayor Nkambe council
-          All churches in Mbum land
-          All mosques in Mbum Land
-          All community rallies in Mbum land
-          All other municipal council Ndu and Nkambe council
-          All civil society organisations
-          The National President – WICUDA
-          All Branch Residents – WICUDA
-          National Youth Council – D/M
-          All Traditional rulers
-          All Leaders of Political Parties
 Professional Education; The Pre-Hording Corridor To Emergence In Mbumland.
Recommended Actions As School Reopens For 2016/2017 Academic Year;
Dear youths;
Fellow brothers and sister of Mbumland;
It my singular pleasure to address to you the recommendation 0f the CEPPEM with regard to what academic paths our youths should follow as schools open their doors for admission against the 2016/2017 academic year. let me begin by congratulating the many  Mbum  youth  who made it at various  end of  course certificate  examination like the FSLC,GCE O/L and A/AL Technical  GCE O/L and  A/L , CAPP, Probatoire  and BACC . You people did marvellous jobs.
I equally wish to encourage those who did not make it. They should work harder in other   to have their names written with the golden pen comes 2017.
I refer you to the academic revolution which we (CEPPEM, the Member of Parliament for Ndu, The Lord Mayor for Ndu, Other Municipal authorities, National president of WICUDA, the Press, Mbum artist and other members of the public) launched in Ndu at the Ndu council in December 2014 during the ECCOFORUM 2014.
I equally refer you to the sanitation tours by the direction of CEPPEM especially that of the__/___/___, during which the primary six purples of the schools in Ndu sub-division were visited and preached the massage of Professional and technical education and vocational training. (See photo-copiers of the picture of the tours).
After the revolution and the several other sensitisation tours, the result are increasingly by interesting. During the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 academic years, there were signification increases in enrolment of Mbum Youths in the technical schools, the vocational training centres and the professional schools.
During the sub-divisional tour within the 2015/2016 academic year, more awareness was created and many and serious commitments were taken. Many parents promised a paradigm shift while teachers resolved to communicate more. Many pupils developed positive attitudes to go professional.
Today I write to you all, (parents, teachers, vote holders, elites, traditional rulers,                           religions authorities’ political flag bearers, media men and women, the development associations etc) to remind us of the need to oriented and guide mbum youths as we prepare for yet another academic year. Please ensure that your children, your future leaders make the right choices. It is time for career coaching, guidance and academic orientation. We must be reminded that professional education, technical education, and vocational education is;
-          Employment focused and job oriented.
-          A Requisite for growth and progress
-          A conditions son qua non for poorly alleviation.
-          The pre-ordained corridor to emergence in Mbum land and,
-          Thus the surest way to make heaven.
At a time when the country is yearning for emergence and the mbum people are craving for survival, it is important for any elite or alien, who has the opportunity, to contribute his or her quota to ensure that the mbum people are rationalized. Identifying the real causes of unemployment is central to providing a lasting solution. Many mbum youths select career paths which are incompatible with available resources; some are completely chopped up by ignorance, a good number suffer from deceits while others are victims of their own problematic mindsets and/or wrong attitude...
The repercussions are glaring. Many of our youths, who for the most part do not go beyond the right school levels, are found crisscrossing towns and cities and roaming streets in quest for jobs- many of which they are not qualified for. For the few who go beyond the A/L, fewer are those who opt for professional studies. Greater proportions prefer humanities when it comes to sciences. In effect, the consequences of this misguided educational path are numerous and alarming:
Ø  Dependency is unacceptably high and persistently increasing,
Ø  Unemployment is famous and joblessness seems like and acceptable status,
Ø  Poverty have subjected many to ridicule,
Ø  The economy of Ndu and Nkambe municipality experiencing stagnation and
Ø  Mbum people seem to be married to underdevelopment.
The place of professional education and by extension the corridor to emergence is largely enshrined in the bible, the greatest book that ever existed in human history. The scriptures made us to understand that Joseph, the husband of Mary, mother of Jesus Christ, was a carpenter, wood work engineering). Mathew was tax collector.........
 The neglect of professional education, technical education and vocational training was not just a visionary failure on our side; it went closer to sinning against God. The issue at stake here, therefore, goes beyond educational philosophy, visions and objectives to include salvation. The revival question thus is “what must we do be safe”
*      To be safe from unemployment,
*      To be safe from poverty and ridicule,
*      To be safe from stagnation,
*      To be safe from further ridicule and
*      To be safe from under development
I appeal to you to say NO to cloudy educational paths, and choose professional education as a pre-ordained corridor to emergence in Mbum land.
The time to act is now;
*      The person to act is you;
*      The action to take is to pursue professional education;
*      The action to take is to sponsor technical education and vocational training.
With Ndu now endowed with several technical schools and vocational training centres while Cameroon can boost of  eight(8) states universities and one hundred and ninety two(192) private universities and university institutes, many of which offers professional training and some just at your door steps, the stage is set for professionalism.
What is left for you is just the choice of the educational part. In making your choices parents and students are advice to attempt resolving the education-life equation below;
“Means (Finance) Ξ Educational Path Ξ Qualification/Skills Ξ Employment”
Going by this equation, parents and students must find out which educational path is more compatible with the job market, taking in to consideration the cost and duration of the training as well as the financial strength of the sponsors.
In conclusion, CEPPEM advises that parents should make choices which are relevant to the development of skills needed by the job market.
Thanks for your kind attention
Yours sincerely

CPDM Names Street at Bamenda University "Paul Biya Avenue", Tubah Mayor Threatens to Pull Down Billboard

Dr. Abety
Tongues are still waging as to why Dr. Peter Alange Abety took that decision to rename a street without informing the council. Yet, some critics suspect that even President Paul Biya may also think the decision is contradictory given that he (Biya) had warned that "Let politics be for politicians and schools for students". What is unclear is whether UBa authorities will implement the decision given the varied interpretations. To the mayor of Tubah, Dr. Abety always like to get people in projects that are illegal. He is quoted to have said that even the law naming streets was not respected and the procedure not followed. Besides, the mayor Tanjong Martin also added that his office received no application to that effect and threatened to pull down the billboard. He further explains that even the Fon of Bambili was not aware and did not even understand where the street Abety was naming was.
The Mayor of Tubah Council, Tanjong Martin has frowned at Dr. Abety's decision to rename one of the streets at the University of Bamenda as "Paul Biya Avenue". This was the outcome of the joint CPDM Section conference that took place in Bambili last August 27, 2016, presided by Dr. Abety, Section President for Mezam V, Tubah.
The Anglo-Saxon University of Bamenda is the fruit of the collective effort of North Westerners and Cameroonians who believe in quality education. It is neither the property of Bambili people, nor Tubah nor CPDM. But Peter Abety thinks it belongs to Bambili people with him as custodian.

Lesson from Nigeria: Dangote Plans to Generate 12,000MW of Electricity by 2018

 Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Aliko Dangote is set to be producing thousands of megawatts of electricity in two years to come.
 The President, Dangote Industries, Aliko Dangote, has said his company should be able to generate about 12,000 megawatts of electricity for the country by 2018.
He also said that his business estate would start selling foreign exchange to the Central Bank of Nigeria by 2020.
Dangote, who spoke in Lagos on Monday at the Nigerian Economic Summit organised by Economist Events, an arm of The Economist of London, said, “We are looking at a situation that by 2020, we will be the one selling FX to the CBN. Our projects are mainly import substitution. We are working to be self-sufficient to grow about a million tonnes of rice over the next five years.
“Our gas project would have our gas pipelines on the seabed. The output should be able to provide about 12,000MW of power. We see a lot of transformation when we are done with most of our projects by 2018.
“We have 15 countries in the ECOWAS community that are duty-free. The export market is big and profitable if you have the capacity. Players in the manufacturing (sector) should be encouraged to export if they have the capacity. We must also meet local consumption.”
Dangote said the fall in crude oil price was not a curse and that the nation must use the opportunity to explore the potential in other sectors of the economy.
