Horror in Nwa: Angry Mob Bury Man Who Kill Brother Alive

Tongues are still waging in Nwa town, sub Divisional capital of Nwa sub Division over an incident that has left two in cold blood in one family. The story goes that a certain Febsa Ivo about 27 years ambushed and killed his brother Abasi Fomlack who had benefitted money from “Njangi” group. It is alleged that after enjoying part of the “Njangi money” with his friends over bottles of drinks, Abasi decided to return back home. While on his way, he fell into the dragnet of his killer brother. After beating the brother to dead, Abasi tried to bury the corps in a nearby bush after collecting the njangi money and since God can never allow such an abomination to go unnoticed, he was caught pants down by a woman in his act. It is alleged he even tried to corrupt the woman with a FCFA 10.000 note after fabricating lies that the lifeless body was that of a Mbororo man who had been disturbing his life. But the lady rejected the bribe and raised an alarm.  Abasi’s wife who had waited home for long and was already out searching for the husband also rushed to the scene just to discover the husband’s lifeless body.

Angered by the act and sacrilege committed by Febsa Ivo on his own brother the angry mob melted jungle justice on the assassin. Reports say before the arrival of the security units, the 27 years old killer was buried alive. According to news report from the Donga Mantung Community Radio-DMCR security operatives in Nwa have opened an investigation into the incident.
